Mirimichi Golf Course

My last couple of trips had been meh when going to mirimichi so I was hesitant to accept invite to go out. Luckily, I did and the course is back to tip top shape like I remember. Well kept, impeccable greens, and fairways were perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Memphis has several terrific courses but I think this is the best. We've played 10+ times and we're always amazed. First of all the beauty of the course. Every hole is more scenic than the previous one. Rolling streams, waterfalls and deep dark forests line every hole. Next come the tee boxes. Hole #16 is a killer from any length but otherwise the course is an incredibly fair test of talent for any level golfer if you play from the correct tees. Finally, the staff... they are kind, polite and accommodating. If you've never played Mirimicihi, today is the day. Your money and time will be well spent. We are not paid advertisers:)

First time playing the course, brought a friend from out of town who is an avid golfer and we were both impressed with the course. It's not perfect, but it's in really good shape. The Greens were outstanding, top class. The tee boxes definitely need improvement but the rest of the course and amenities were spot on. I'll definitely be back.

Great shape, great value, course was in great shape!

Mirimichi has received a bunch of mixed reviews since JT sold it, but as someone who's played it several times... it's worth the drive. That's the issue. The course isn't close to anyone, but for me on a Friday afternoon, being able to play in well under 3 hours was nice.

Greens were in the best shape I've seen them in the last couple of years. Fairways were ok. The course played pretty fast, and it's a great layout. Love the challenge and diversity of holes. Will be back... sooner rather than later.

This course was really challenging with many fairway bunkers. The fairways seemed to be a little dried out and thin but the rest of the course was in excellent condition. Will be playing here again

Played with 3 others. the course was in bad condition. Little or no grass in fairways. Many greens had large bad spots. I have played at least 5 other courses in the area including Orgill, Audubon, Galloway, Glen Eagle, and Cherokee Valley. They all suffered same flooding and weather as this course. Yet all of them much better shape. Do not understand when a course that is supposed to be the best in the area has let this course get in a terrible condition. They should at least lower the price to pay until the course is in good condition.

Course was overall in good shape. Fairways are still coming in from the recent rains but greens and rest of course was in really good shape.

Everything was nice- Staff-, food & beverage servers, pace of play, Cart paths, greens well kept Sand right consistency!Course playing a little tight & dirty- It will be magnificent once its grass comes in next month! Crews have had their hands full with repairing flood damaged areas. Bunkers need weeding & some didn’t have rakes. Azalea shrubs here were more in bloom than the azaleas at Augusta National a couple of weeks ago!

Very nice staff in the shop as well as on the course. Several Marshall’s kept things moving. The turn house was closed for the season, however there was an open offer to bring out any of their offerings! Only negative I could offer is course drainage, it rained the night before, and the course was very wet. Muddy! That might be trivial to folks that live in the Memphis area, it is flat land there! Enough said. The greens were immaculate and rolled true. I will go back next time I come to the area.

Fairways not in good condition. Greens a little bit on slow side. For the price to play expected the course to be in better condition.

Played here on a Sunday afternoon, hot as the devil. Location is north of Memphis, in the boonies a bit. Clubhouse, range, and practice areas are superb. Course layout is great, but be sure to play the right tees. Playing longer than you can hit will take the fun away. Just a pure joy hitting from the fairways, not so from the bunkers. The greens were excellent too. But only one water source on the course, and the cart service for beverages only came by once in the round. Overall, an excellent experience on an upscale course.

This was my first time playing Mirimichi. I really liked the course. It is out away from Memphis, but well worth the drive.

The greens fee price comes with range balls. The range and practice area area great with nice putting green, chipping area, practice bunker, etc.

The two nines are totally different. The front nine is flat and pretty wide open. The back nine has more elevation changes with much more variety of holes along with meandering streams and ponds. There was wildlife around the course (deer, turkeys, etc.)

Pace of play was great. There were hardly any people out on the course today. The entire staff was very friendly and nice. (pro shop, starter, snack bar).

Course amenities..........was good ........turn @ 9 had attendants ....was disappointed over the quality of food. The hamburger I ordered was only barely warm, but the people were very friendly and offered to replace.

The carts have GPS which is nice for never having played the course before.

overall, great course. I will definitely return to play again if I am in the area.
