Great course, but went away hungry
Maybe the best course I ever played. Very challenging, but fair. Greens were perfect and very fast. Fairways are zosoyia and created a perfect lie every time. I'm a 13 handicap and shot a 84 off the gold tees, for a net 71. Right on my handicap.
The price for seniors over 55 was very good. $35. That included cart and practice balls at the range and chipping green. Very nice setup!
However; when. I finished and went to the clubhouse for a drink and sandwich, I was ignored for 10 minutes by several staff. I finally picked up my money and left to get a sandwich elsewhere.
I highly recommend the golf course, but next time, I'll bring my own food.
Mirimichi is a class act!
First timer at Mirimichi, it was everything I expected from the rave reviews on GOLFNOW. Tough course for a low score, but that's what keeps us golfers honest. Plenty of trouble to get into if you're not on your A game. Some narrow fairways, but pretty open for the most part. Fairways were a little bit on the hard side, but I adjusted by taking a little less club as you will always get a good roll. Hard to get close to these pins, green are very fast and undulated. 1 putts are almost non existent. Extremely friendly staff, very helpful. Complimentary range balls, and GPS on carts is a major plus. Some fairways can be link style, not many even lies. Had a great time, and most definitely will be looking forward to playing here again. Thanks to all of the staff for making this course a great experience.
One of the best values anywhere
Great experience. Wonderful course. Great value.
Great experience!
My son and I drove from Nashville to Memphis just to play golf at Mirimichi, and we were not disappointed. It was our last father/son golf outing before he heads off to college, and since we had played the course in late fall before, we wanted to experience it in the summer months. The course was beautiful, even with the extreme heat we've been experiences this year. Kudos to the grounds crew! The greens were fast but fair. I can't wait to make the trip again. It was a great experience all around!
Beautiful course
A very nice course great condition quiet
One word.....PROFESSIONAL!!!!!
From the bag drop to the cart return and everything in between..... Exceptional!!!! Gotta get back soon!
Great course and value
Mirimichi had a great practice facility and nice new carts with gps. The course was in great shape and multiple tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels. It was in a great natural setting mostly free of homes etc. it is a must play at the hot deal rate from golf now.
Second visit to Mirimichi
I played 18 holes on July 13 and enjoyed it so much I came back on the 14th to play a second round. The second day there was a thunderstorm but I was able to complete the front nine and part of the back nine before the lightning started. The staff were super nice and gave me a rain check for the back nine. I'm looking forward to playing here again.
Fun golf destination for a quick stop
Overall, it was a good experience. The clubhouse is nice and big along with the big driving range right beside it, makes for a nice view driving in. The staff wasn't too friendly but were ok. The course had great fairways and greens that were fast with only a few bad spots. A lot of the bunkers were not in very good condition however, some were grown in or some had old hard sand. That part was a little disappointing but there were still lots of nice water features, big trees, and difficult holes. Would definitely recommend it if you don't mind paying more than average for a round. Good layout and fun holes.
Play this course
Updated and beautiful course. It is clear some money and time was put in to make this course look great. The clubhouse, range, and other amenities are outstanding. If you are in the area go play this course.
The only negative is the greens had some patches that needed some work. I am sure the extended periods of heat played into the green issues.
good time but.......
Poor customer service and slow greens!!
Loved it
Recent landscaping, attention to details and friendless of staff makes for a must play. No two holes the same creative layout. very challenging greens very fast
Looks great
Only minor complaint would be that the "while we're young" theme hasn't completely soaked into some golfers mindset yet.
Course conditions were the best I've seen.
Amazing!
Great Experience! I would love to visit here soon..
Very nice
played the course on Tue. not very crowed great practice areas course was in very good condition some minor construction going on but did not effect play. Would highly recommend this course
Great course! A bit pricey.
We played this course on our way to Tunica, MS. A great stopping point if you are coming from the north. The course layout was fantastic with the front nine being open and flat and the back 9 a woodland adventure. Only 2 complaints are the fairways hadn't come in completely yet (can't do anything about that) and a pricey for being early in the season. (Paid $63/player thru golfnow hot deal.) greens were very nice and FAST!
Golfnut
Country club conditions, the best set of par 3s I have played on the same golf course, great landscaping, owners are not afraid to spend money to improve the course. Played the course twice on our trip, it was that good.
Great Day
Enjoyed the course for it being the first time there. All marshal's were very nice and the pro shop staff was extremely friendly! Will return!
Nice tract! Good spring shape.
Great course. Friendly staff. Looks like it's in good spring shape and should be excellent in a couple of weeks.
Good Course
Green is very good but fairway is not good yet, we had better to wait a little bit more.
