About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Challenging greens and layout.
Played on a Hot Deal of $40.00 per player including all fees and taxes. Course was recovering from a big wind and rain storm a few days prior so lots of downed trees etc... being cleaned up. Dormant fairways were in good shape. Greens were smooth, fast, and very challenging with a lot of slope/undulation in all of them. The layout has a lot of character and is challenging as well. Good course that I look forward to playing again.
Surprised
Greens in really nice shape for the time of year.
Bunkers have fresh sand.
Fairways were dead still but not any standing water or anything like that.
Played at a comfortable pace and had a good time.

Love this course
For the time of year this course was in great shape, they have made some improvements with concrete cart paths, it is a challenging course and fun to play! Worth the drive to get there

Course changes in effect
First time playing the Legacy in about two years. First off it was a beautiful afternoon to play golf! I was impressed with the green speed and smoothness as the last time I had played they were a little longer and slower (bent grass). Several of the holes had new cart paths and much of the brush was cut down on many of the holes creating it much more playable. Sand traps had nice, new sand in them and have come a long way from what they were (un-maintained). If you haven’t played this Ray Floyd design in a while, give it a try!

Never Dissappointed
I love to play this course every time I'm in town. It never disappoints me. They continue to improve the course. Adding new cart paths in now. Greens are in great shape for January. I will play it again next trip! Thanks!

Fun course
Had 836 Tee Time
Course in good condition considering it had rained overnight.
Great Layout, tight course and had plenty of challenging holes.
Couple things that keeped it from being a 5
Pace of play, Awful! 5hr round not acceptable and no ranger anywhere.
Also after a convo with the group behind us they shot on us a handful of times with us unable to go anywhere. Again situation like this is where a Ranger is needed.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
Great Challenging Course
The course was in great shape, and it was fun to play. It is extremely important to hit your drives straight. If one misses the landing areas, it makes for a challenge to the green. There are elevation changes, but nothing too severe. It would be very difficult to play this course without a cart. I did get hot chocolate from the club house prior to starting the round, and service was great. I would recommend this course to a friend. We played other courses in the Nashville area, and this was by far the most challenging of the three.

Golfing in November!!
Golfed with. my brother-in-law from Indianapolis area. It was perfect! This was my second time playing The Legacy. His first. As expected, the fairways and rough were brown, after all, it is November. But the tee boxes and greens were in great shape. The natural beauty, and the course challenge were still there. It was a great day all around.

Great course. Horrible carts and paths
Really beautiful course. Enjoyed it alot. In desperate need of updated cart paths and new carts. Really my only complaint.
Fall Golf
Leaves are falling, trees getting bare and the zoysia fairways have assumed their post summer hay color. However, how can you beat a cloudless blue sky day with other affable golfers that share their knowledge of the course, particularly, when you’re the newbie seeing the course for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, the hills, towering knolls, elevated greens with some nasty slopes, twists and turns, even the beach. Will definitely play this course when in Nashville which occurs many times a year. It’s a golfer’s golf course.

A Quality course
This course is one of the top courses in middle TN even the whole state. Consistently well maintained and courteous staff. This course is very chllenging for me ,but that is a reason i return to play it. Greens are usually firm undulating, and quick down grain. A good test for anyone. Pick a forward tee if its your first tound there. You'll have a fun time.
