About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Best layout around
The Legacy is a fantastic course with the best layout around.
5 sets of tee boxes
Zoysia fairways, but not playing like it right now. Mattet down and not sitting up like normal, but still good.
Bent grass green that roll pretty true and quick.
An absolute must play!!

Super course
Traveling to Nashville wanted to play a nice course pick this one because a good reviews bit of a drive from Nashville but totally worth it of course is in great shape fairways are perfect greens are perfect tee boxes are nice of course layout is wonderful a very fair course pretty much Target golf bent greens and had a great time highly recommend it

Great Course, Playing Well
Legacy is a great course and has some tough holes that will challenge any golfer. Greens were in really good shape, fairways were good, teeboxes a little dry and hard to get a tee into sometimes but thats the worst you put up with here. Pace was good, it is usually not stacked up. Worth the money and drive from Nashville.

Always in great shape
Challenging course but still not too difficult for average players. It had been a few years since I played there but I returned bc the layout and it was in great shape...I was not disappointed! The twilight deal is awesome and on a beautiful Tuesday late afternoon the pace of play was great ...no waiting

Firsty
This was my son and I’s first time on Legacy. The layout was great fun. Inclines, declines, doglegs right and left. We throughly enjoyed the challenges. It was a great outing for us. We will cone back. Thank you.

Challenging course
This is a very nice public course that is very challenging to the average golfer. The pin positions were very tight.

Rude clubhouse check in guy.
Golf club guy was rude. I requested a single online he put me with three others for the third time. When I asked what it took to get a round alone with my wife accompanying me his response was get a job at the course. What a jerk! I left without playing. This the second time.

Money well spent
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. The course offers some challenging holes and you need to keep the ball in play. The Bermuda rough was hard to hit from, which is normal..The large greens rolled the perfect speed in my opinion. Looking forward to playing again.

Very Nice Course at a Reasonable Price
My son and I played The Legacy on August 8 and were very happy with the course, which was in very good condition. If I were to make one suggestion it would be to allow the greens to firm up a little. It was hot that day, and they had been watered just before we played, so they were pretty soft.
The staff in the pro shop and snack bar were excellent as well.

Enjoyable round of golf
Great layout. Course was in very good shape. Greens are quick but true. Only complaint is that the staff should hand out divot repair tools and teach people how to use them. I probably fixed 100 ball marks that other people just walked away from.

More difficult than the courses I usually play, but the course was in great shape. The greens were fast and smooth. Will play here again.
