About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

The Legacy never disappoints.
Course is in great shape. Hot and humid weather conditions. They hooked me up with 3 great guys. Lots of fun. Always a ball breaker course. Over all a grea day.

Beautiful course layout and quite challenging, fun but challenging. My only hiccups were the tee boxes were hard as a rock, couldn’t put tee in the ground with breaking a tee or adding water from my water bottle. The fairways were pretty hard on some holes as well but all in all, still one of my favorite courses to play.

An out of the way bargain
I really enjoy this course…great layout, very friendly staff and they’ve really upgraded their merchandise in the clubhouse. Springfield is a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the drive.

Beautiful Course. Great layout. Rolling hills
My buddy and I had a tee time for 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. They paired us up with another twosome who were very friendly.
We played from the golds, since we are not big hitters and we’ were able to hit 6 irons or shorter for second shots on the par 4’s.
It is a beautiful course. They are redoing some of the green side bunkers, so in a month they should be done. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The greens were fast, but true. There were several foursomes in front of us and a Sixsome allowed us to pass on the third hole par 3. It took us about 4 and a half hours to play. I will definitely be back.
