About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

great challenge but conditioning a work in progress
awesome layout, good but not great conditioning. A lot of work going on with the cart paths and course and it looks like they are doing great work. First time player and could not clearly see where to hit some tee shot, not sure what they could do to fix that. Tons of movements in the greens which makes both approach shots and putting a challenge. Driving range really rough, need s lot of work on the turn although we were off mats for some unknown reason on a lovely dry Saturday

AWESOME LAY!
Course was fast. Greens were in great shape. True and playable fast. Fairways were close and tight. Recently, rain has been scarce. Very few holes, water comes into play. Challenging, but fair. As a twosome, played in three and half hours. Only saw one group, two holes ahead. If in the area, DEFINITELY play again!

AWESOME LAYOUT!
Course was fast. Fairways were close and tight. Greens were true and fast. Teed off at 12:30. After 8 holes we saw a group two holes ahead. As a twosome and first time to play this course, finished in three and half hours. Could see rainfall had been scarce. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COURSE! Will be on my courses to play again!

The condition of the course is much above any public course in the area. Staff is very friendly. Will for sure play again.

First Time
It was a good course. Course was in decent shape. Confusing on where to go at times. There needs to be a marshal to control pace of play. Don’t think it was worth the $75 for 2 people. Fairways were not great. Might try this course again but don’t know. Live near The Hermitage so I would pay the money and less drive than to drive to The Legacy

Great layout
I’ve played this course 8-10 times and enjoy it each and every time. It seems to always be taken care of and the staff is great. Would recommend to play if you’re in the area.

Very good potential
First time playing. It’s was March. Greens were air rated and grass had not woken up yet. Think country club. Once construction is completed and summer is here I will be back.

Great layout
I played 3/31 and really enjoyed this course. There’s some construction going on right now but only affected a couple holes. Overall this is a good design with some challenging holes from the back tees. I’m a 1 handicap so I need some challenging holes and this course has a few. I definitely recommend it!

Well maintained course
There were a couple of holes having construction going on so they played shorter. The greens had been punched recently but they rolled well. The sand traps were in great condition (well maintained). Enjoyed the day
