The Legacy

I played 3/31 and really enjoyed this course. There’s some construction going on right now but only affected a couple holes. Overall this is a good design with some challenging holes from the back tees. I’m a 1 handicap so I need some challenging holes and this course has a few. I definitely recommend it!

There were a couple of holes having construction going on so they played shorter. The greens had been punched recently but they rolled well. The sand traps were in great condition (well maintained). Enjoyed the day

a great golf course was wet the day we played which made for a long round over 5 hours the city was doing some construction around the course which messed up several cart path had to go around they need to put up some signs to tell where to enter and exit around the construction the golf pro called and told me they had construction going on before we played there was very considerate of them i appreciated that still was a fun round a great place to play

This is a great course. This is the best winter course I have played all season. Its a challenging course with fun par threes.

If you’re in the Nashville area, it’s a bit of a drive up to Legacy. However, you’ll be rewarded with a terrific layout, and one that costs a fraction of a normal round. City is currently building new sewage drains straight through the course, and construction is present on 4-5 golf holes. The 9th hole is the only hole that is truly erected, as they had to move Tee Boxes up to fairway.

With all of that being said, it is better than any Nashville Metro Course and offers a challenge to any golfer. Undulating greens make scoring a challenge based on pin placement, but it is certainly fair. If your looking for a great value, I’d make the trip to play this course. Greens are in good shape, though there are sign of play (People need to Learn to fix divots).

Very fun challenging course! Under some construction now so some parts were rough but still was able to play all 18 holes which was nice! Best part about this course is the greens. Greens are huge and fast here with massive slopes. Led to multiple 3 puts which is not fun, but have to love the challenge!

Well designed course, one of the best I have played in the Nashville area.

Staff in the clubhouse was very friendly and helpful too, for a first timer at the course.

Will be back to play this spectacular course.

This course is absolutely amazing for the price. It was in great condition for being in the middle of winter. The staff was friendly, and the grill had amazing food. I would recommend this course to everyone. It is the same quality as a course with $100 green fees.

The Legacy is one of the closest courses to my house, but time and again the lack of hospitality from the staff turns me away. I was a frequent player at this course over the summer, and the head pro was always less than welcoming. The course relies heavily on practice mats for the driving range, which can be overlooked, but not on top of the customer service. The snack bar is closed for winter, so don’t expect to be able to get a snack at the turn, unless you luck out with the small selection in the golf shop. Unfortunately, this could be an incredible golf course, and among the elite in Middle Tennessee, but right now it is not.

Greatly enjoyed my round at Legacy. The course was in good shape for the time of year and better than almost every other course I’ve played in middle Tn. They are making some repairs mostly to sand traps but fair to say things looked good. The course is out in the country but nestled in a nice neighborhood. Not much water to contend with, the layout is respectable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate lunch before our round and it was good and reasonably priced .

Super nice golf course with large undulating greens with a great deal of character. They are fairly fast most of the time and can be quite challenging. The layout is very interesting, so that most of the holes can be remembered fairly easily. The cost of play is very competitive for the geographic area and the course is very well maintained. I live about an hour South of the course, depending on traffic conditions through Nashville. I would love to play the course more often and do recommend the course to a couple of fairly large groups that I play in weekly during the summer months. I am trying to get the larger group (about 36 players) to add this course to our rotation. Congratulations Legacy! Please keep up the good work; it is very appreciated.

We had an outstanding time playing at this course today. Course was in excellent condition and the greens were also superb. Wasn’t very many people on the course so the pace of play was perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better day. Hopefully the weather stays nice so we can get out there and play again. Price was a steal using the website. Highly recommend!

Course was in excellent condition. Fairways were plush and the greens were fast.

Enjoyed back nine much better than front.

Carts are old and need replacement.

Pro Shop staff was pleasant but Club house staff not very service oriented and rather rude.

This course is challenging but fair. I am not a great golfer, but, I can score well if I place my shots. It is in great shape and the greens were wonderful. I wish they had more afternoon tee times available, as that's our favorite time to play. I highly recommend this course to anyone.

It helped that the weather was perfect, however, the course is in excellent condition. The fairways are plush, the greens were perfect and the rough was manageable. The young man in the pro shop was friendly and informative at check-in. The scorecard has a nice diagram of each hole in detail that is very helpful to us that don't get to play this course very often. The course is a 2 hours drive for me to play and this is only the third time I have played it. Wish it was closer as I would love to play here every week. GolfNow fee was nice, but their normal green fee rates are very reasonable for the quality of this course. This course compares with any I have played in SW Florida that charge 3 times the fees. Don't miss this jewel, its worth the trip.
