About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Definitely a nice little course hidden in Springfield. Well taken care of and pretty good layout.
Course has unique features for area
Lots of links-style elements, unusual for middle TN. Generous width on many fairways, but challenging with crowned and/or undulating greens, forced-carries, and numerous hazards. Well-designed.

Worth the drive
visiting Nashville and waiting to visit Springfield since I grew up there over 30yrs ago. This course was exactly what I had hoped it would be...fairways were fantastic, I loved the grass around the greens giving you extra confidence in chipping. Overall interesting layout where you could make choices off the tee. The cart staff were very friendly and came around often...only feedback i have is the range balls were a little shabby. Great course, worth the money and the drive from Nashville!

Awesome course
Best layout around Nashville. Course conditions were amazing. Green were at a very fast speed. Best value for the money around Nashville.
Heat brings birdies
The course offers degrees of difficulty based on tee markers used. Position off the tee is crucial on some holes. There are some you can let it go though. Greens are a medium speed and roll well. Birdies can be had if you are on the correct part of the green. Fun time, friendly staff!
Great time
Played here on a Sunday late morning. Course was in excellent shape except for the areas where they were renovating/planting/sodding. This was only noticeable or come into play on a couple holes. Greens were quick and smooth. Staff was friendly. Overall a great time. Would play again.

Lots of fun!
I would highly recommend playing The Legacy! From tee to green, the golf course will challenge you. The REAL challenge comes when you get to the greens! Greens had a really good pace to them, but not crazy fast. The slope of the greens was something you don't see everyday! If you get a chance, play The Legacy! Also, the head pro was extremely nice! Had a great conversation with him before the round!

Great Round!
Great of golfing. The course was in good shape. They are in the process of up grading their cart paths and repairing the bunkers. other than that the fairways and greens are in excellent shape. All of the staff from the pro shop, restaurant and course personnel were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful course
Beautiful homes, beautiful greens and one of best courses in Middle Tennessee! We have played here many times and always have a great round. Carts are nice and clean as well as the greens. Prices are well below what you expect at a course like this! Our favorite course!

great challenge but conditioning a work in progress
awesome layout, good but not great conditioning. A lot of work going on with the cart paths and course and it looks like they are doing great work. First time player and could not clearly see where to hit some tee shot, not sure what they could do to fix that. Tons of movements in the greens which makes both approach shots and putting a challenge. Driving range really rough, need s lot of work on the turn although we were off mats for some unknown reason on a lovely dry Saturday

AWESOME LAY!
Course was fast. Greens were in great shape. True and playable fast. Fairways were close and tight. Recently, rain has been scarce. Very few holes, water comes into play. Challenging, but fair. As a twosome, played in three and half hours. Only saw one group, two holes ahead. If in the area, DEFINITELY play again!

AWESOME LAYOUT!
Course was fast. Fairways were close and tight. Greens were true and fast. Teed off at 12:30. After 8 holes we saw a group two holes ahead. As a twosome and first time to play this course, finished in three and half hours. Could see rainfall had been scarce. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COURSE! Will be on my courses to play again!

The condition of the course is much above any public course in the area. Staff is very friendly. Will for sure play again.
