About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Awesome course and staff
Clubhouse staff was really phenomenal. No just saying that.
Who knew.
Stumbled across this gem on a nationwide golf roadtrip. A little surprised to see gas golf carts still exists exist so no GPS. Luckily I had the course downloaded to Arccos on my phone. The course is quite hilly which made the rangefinder impotent.
I played in a very lite rain which had been going on for days. The greens were very receptive but the bunkers were compacted. In any case the course was lush and in excellent condition.
If I lived in Springfield, TN this course would be my forever home.
All, for the heatwave we are in at this time, course was in great shape.
I have numerous courses with in a 50 mile radius. This is the most challenging course
Love the course. They keep it in great shape and always have reasonable pricing on golf now.

Well, this is NOT a beginners course, and yes, it is a challenging course
The staff and course were great that day.
A little slow after nine, but manageable at time
Great course at a better price.
Got in a late Sunday afternoon round so the price was very good. Even on weekends at peak times it is still a great deal. Course is in really good condition and greens are amazing. Fast and challenging for someone like me but still they are great. For the money, probably my favorite course around. Will always take the little extra drive from Nashville to save money and play course that is this good.
Great all around
The staff was great the greens were true and fast. Everything was well maintained from the practice greens to the clubhouse. Lucky I got paired up with a local because the layout is a little tricky but it was awesome
Solid Choice for any level player
Course layout is challenging from the tips and very manageable from the whites. Greens are moderately challenging. Wish cards had GPS on them so that you wouldn’t have to guess on your yardages.

Older course but nice
Nice course. Tee boxes were in bad shape and hard as a rock, but rest of course was in good shape. Tough course, especially if you've never played it and don't know the layout. Still enjoyed it and would go back.
Not for beginners or duffers. Long and challenging. Greens were much slower than expected, resulting in many putts left short.
Great course!!
Played the course many times in the past but this was the first time for a few years, course was in excellent shape. Other than it being a 5hr round i have no complaints. Was disappointed in the selection of Powerade/Gatorade there was only one Zero calorie.
Would definitely play again!!!
Good shape
Tee boxes were in fairly good shape but need some watering - if only so you can put a tee in the hard ground. Otherwise, bring a hammer (not exaggerating).
Greens and fairways were in good shape, as well. You need to keep the ball in the most fairways, as heavy vegetation lines most holes.
I'll definitely return.
Legacy Golf Course
Staff very friendly when checking in, informational of course layout. Friendly staff when ordering drinks and food. Course is very challenging, fairways and greens in good condition. Players need to fix their divots on the greens.
