About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Fun layout
Fun course, we played white and should have done combo. Took two that neverplayed there and they really enjoyed it. Gteens in great shape and true.

Good value
Course is in great condition, aside from hole six being closed due to flooding, but that’s obviously something beyond control as it had stormed for multiple days prior. I played it once before in the fall when it was definitely “winter golf” and the course as come alive tremendously since then, highly recommend this course.

Customer Golf
Took a foursome of customers to entertain for the afternoon. For a Ray Floyd designed course the course is very fair and playable. I love the layout but course outside of fairways and green needs a little TLC to have it live up to the Floyd name expectations. Greens were consistent and firm. Fairways were very tight lies and taking divots was difficult. A lot of club bounce from fairways. Bunkers have high quality sand and are well taken care of and playable. This was a nice surprise for I find many courses are ignoring bunkers these days.
Staff was friendly. One customer had to rent a set of Callaway XR’s several years old. Clubhouse guy made us stand there while he inspected EVERY club when returned in order to get your credit card hold back.
Course is a better than average muni course but needs some TLC and clubhouse updates.

Great layout
The course layout is very nice with water, sand traps, and trees to navigate. Greens are fast and tiered. Great course to play.

Don’t waste your time
Pace of play is a joke, waiting on every shot, took almost 6 hours to play 18 at 1030 am Monday. Zero course management

Greens alone worth the money
Played on a friday afternoon using a Hot deal. Course in pretty good shape, some dry/very wet spots to be expected before proper summer growth. Greens are great, maybe a touch slow , but they require you to hit to correct spots to get close. Id pay the hot deal price for the greens alone.

Big Greens
My first time playing this course in several years. I'd forgotten how challenging the large greens can be but it was a very enjoyable round. I hope to play here again soon.
