About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Well Maintained Course
Course was well maintained, greens were smooth and soft, fairways were great. Tee boxes were extremely hard, and had difficulty getting tees in on many tee boxes. Course would not allow walking prior to noon, but they did move our tee time up and send us out as a two-some, which was great. Zero issues with pace of play.
Given the time of year, the course was still in good shape. The rolling fairways and greens were challenging, but overall a good round.

Good conditions on tees, greens, and fairways. Well designed fair, but some tough narrow holes.
Outstanding
Don't normally leave reviews but this place was outstanding from when we showed up till we left the parking lot. "Just perfect "
Perfect Public Course
Overall a great experience. Club pro let me tee off earlier than my T Time. Course was in great shape, barely any dead spots. Greens were a little slow, but consistent and full, so that's fine by me. Great layout with some nice hills and tight shots, making you think about what your strategy should be. Bunkers were in good shape and fairways were nice. It's a little bit of a drive from Nashville, but well worth it. Between the price, layout and conditions, on top of a perfect day, you can't ask for a better experience.

Challenging course all around. Greens are sloping. Seemed a little slow Enjoyed playing here.
One of my favorites
Love the layout of the course. It requires you to play different shots with different clubs. Greens still show punch holes but putted fairly true. They weren't as fast as they looked nor as fast as they used to be.
Loved this course
Played here for the first time heard great things about it and was not disappointed. Due to lack of rain it was hard and the fairways had a lot of rollout so a good tee shot was punished the greens were smooth fast but fair . The holes were challenging and I loved the elevation changes quite the contrast to what I play in Florida. The gentleman in the pro shop was great pace of play was good I will definitely be back to play next time I visit
Nice layout needs water
We played afternoon. Not crowded so played along fine. Greens were maintained well fairways were lacking water as evidenced by the low levels in the ponds. More brown than green but played ok. Folks were friendly. Booked the course because of the lush green pictures on the home page. Not quite so. We did get a discounted rate so no real complaint.
Outstanding
The course is in beautiful shape, all around.
