Red Wolf Golf Resort

the course was in great shape, if i had one complaint it would be that the tee boxes were a little too sandy other than that everything was great.

Once again I am very disapointed in the fairways at Red Wolf, already this early in the season and they have very little grass on them and they are like concrete. Its really sad that a track as pleasing as this to be in such horrible shape.

This is a nice little quiet place. The greens are very fast but the thing I like the most is the fairways are in pretty good shape and have a little more cushion than most places. Can't wait for summer when the grass is growing better to play there. If they are good now then they will be even better when the weather is better.

The course conditions are coming along. This should come together well in late spring. Extremely friendly staff and fair to easy layout with a few challenging holes mixed in. Pace of play was slow the day I played though.

A lot of the fairways were hard and dried out. Taking even small divots could sting your hands a little. Overall course design is not bad. Some tougher holes on the back 9 that include plenty of water to contend with. Bunkers were in good shape with plenty of sand. Tons of trees line the course, which adds a degree of difficulty that I liked. The clubhouse is very good with some good food and great prices. The staff was very friendly as well.

Played on a Sunday that was really busy, wasn't too bad. I will give the greens an 8.5 for being in good shape and rolling true...they are a little fast but fun to play. The fairways need work but going through arification right now. I have been coming here for approx 10yrs; this place has been through a couple of different ownerships......you can tell the staff is working hard to keep this place in shape or get it better. Kudos to the staff. Can't wait to see what it looks like in a month or two.

Played here again yesterday. I've played here several times now, and keep going back, and surely will be back again.
The course is in pretty good winter golf condition. The greens were in better than average shape and consistent speed. The fairways are being plug aerated and the plugs are everywhere. Seems to me they should be swept up and used to fill in areas in need. But, doesn't seem like it's going to happen. The holes done on previous days had flattened, dried out, aeration plug chunks all over them, to be left on their own. Hopefully they won't be left in place long enough to affect the turf underneath?
The staff as usual was helpful, friendly and courteous and worth an extra half star! 3.5!

You cant beat the price to go out and play 18 holes on a very good overall layed out course. They are still working on the tee boxes and a few fairways but from where this course was a few years ago it is heading in the right direction. I would recommend the kitchen keep the grill open a little longer for the later groups that would like to sit and have a burger and cold beer afterwards, seems like your losing some refenue there. Enjoyed my last 2 rounds and will be back!

I've played Red Wolf several times, always enjoyable.

Its been a year since I last played here & I can tell the course has improved visually. The new sand in bunkers is great, greens were in good shape, fast & true. The fairways always need more attention though.

I have been playing Red Wolf for over 10 years and would reccomend to anyone. Course is in great shape and always a challenge to play. Just recently started changing pin placement which makes a different kind of challenge on 2nd and 3rd shots.

I have recorded 8 plays at Red Wolf over the past year, but it could be more. Good price and challenge brings me back each time.

We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our round. This course can be played long. THe sand bunkers are in top condition and the greens were to.

It has a nice lay out and you get to play all angles of the course. Love the country feeling it gives out and very relaxing enviroment.

Nice course. Great greens. Lot's of leaves. Easy to lose balls. Love the fact that you get a sleeve of balls or a hat just for playing Mon-Thurs.

The course was pretty much a cow pasture. I saw the reviews before I booked and was looking forward to a well-kept and challenging course. The tees and fairways were awful: weeds, bare spots, leaves all over, and bunkers more like dirt than sand - seemed like no attempt has been made to keep the course in shape. Except for the greens which were in very good condition.

We got a good rate, but it was barely worth that.

I played this course Sat. Dec, 8 2012. It is a cow pasture at best. A pretty good layout, but another golf course course laid to waste. A great deal of work is needed to repair this place. Beautiful location, leaves all over. Could not find my ball twice just off the fairway. Staff and building very nice and clean, but the course, don't bother.

I enjoyed playing at Red Wolf. The Greens were as good as any I have played this year. I like the senior tees for us old folgies. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back.
