Falling off steeply behind the green, the par-4 first hole may cause agony should you end up in this area (unless you pitch the ball like Matt Kuchar). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

Hitting the green at the third, a par-4 that runs 367 yards, is made more difficult by its elevated surface–sitting well above the fairway. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

The magnificent sixth hole is both a beauty and a beast. It plays downhill off the tee, then straight uphill to this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

Your tee shot at nine must traverse a pond to reach the perched green at this par-3 of 182 yards. A pair of swans graces the pond itself. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

Seen here in the late afternoon, this is the par-5 fifteenth. It is the longest three-shotter on the course at 554 yards. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

A Great Day on the Course
Once again we enjoyed a day at Crown Point. The course id in good shape. Some areas are roped off due to the heavy rains. Greens are in good shape, firm and fast.
If you are in the area give it a try.
Noooooo Carts
I booked and paid on GolfNow for myself, a friend, and our wives. It rained the night before and the rain was just ending as we arrived. When we got there we were told no carts today. Not cart path only, NO carts. My friend is recovering from knee surgery and the wives were not going to walk anyway since they had cart bags and the course was wet. We drove 35 minutes for nothing. We ended up going all the way back to Ludlow and playing there. They had carts out and didn't even have cart path only restrictions and they had the same rain storm. The course was not overly wet or muddy at all. I've heard good things about Crown Point but I didn't get to find out.
It’s inexpensive for a reason.
Drainage is a major problem on this course. Too many wet areas on the fairways and rough. Clubhouse and pro shop are basically non existent. Zero amenities.
Course layout is terrible. Signage is horrible. Cart paths, to the extent there are any, are in severe disrepair. Holes are dangerously close together. Almost hit by balls in flight twice. Really not good.
I’m upset that GolfNOW makes it seem the course is great. What a joke. Would not recommend to anyone.
Great mountain course
Lots of fun to play, up and down the hills. Nice fairways and greens.
Another wonderful round at Crown Point
It's a long way for my golf partner and I to get to Crown Point but we find it worth the trip. The course, although a big soggy, was beautiful.
Drinking water
A few coolers of water which all were empty.
Workers on the course working.
Today was a hot day, lounge was closed,,
Only water was outside the club house that was almost empty.
For a hot day some one should be filling the coolers.
A Great Day on the Course
Course is in great shape. Fairways are mowed, rough not to thick and greens are in good shape. Course conditions have improved over the past month. If you are in the area why not give Crown Point a try.
Amazing
I played here a few weeks ago and the greens took a hit during the winter. They had a couple of temporary greens (understandable) , when we played on the first of June I was amazed on how great the course looked!!! I seen the greens look good a few times in years passed, but they were so good! The ball rolled so good. Such a great experience!
A Great Day on the Course
Course is still shaping up. Greens have been irrigated and still sandy. Fairways are in good condition some areas are still recovering from rain 7-10 days ago. Play this course often.
Love this course.
This is one of my favorite course to play, it's fare but can be hard if your out of position.
worth the drive
I have an almost two hour drive to get to Crown Point. It is worth the drive, as the cost for 18 holes is very reasonable, the course is not usually crowded when we go, the course is in very good condition, the layout is wonderful for my not-so-perfect golfing ability, and the aesthetics of the course are great. One of our go-to courses during the season.
Been a hard winter/spring, this course is wet early in the year. The staff is doing a great job with keeping carts away from wet areas and trying to keep the course in good shape. With rain finally on its way the course should start to come alive. We noticed that some of the trees are slow in budding it’s leaves. With some warmer weather it should be great again. I’d like to see it again in a month.
