The course overall is in great condition especially compared to others in the area.

Only complaint I would have is the rough is so thick that it’s almost impossible to find a ball unless you’re standing right over it. So much time wasted and balls lost having a comb over a 4-5 foot area. Need to cut the rough a little shorter...

Teal, please cut the rough down a little bit. It's not a good thing when you are losing balls just off the Fairway as I did several times today!

Good course, leaves were a problem. But over all. Good round of golf.

Bermuda rough was very high, greens were hairy and uncut, fairways were uncut, overall condition was okay for the season. Your ball could be 10 feet off the fairway and you couldn’t find your ball - even around the greens. For a semi-private course we were disappointed to make the drive. Hanover CC once was a very nice course - now average at best. There are other courses in the area that are in better shape and are more enjoyable to play.

great course, but if you did not hit the fairway, could not find your ball unless you stepped on it! probably be fine after they cut it. I imagine they seeded and fertilized so they can't cut yet!

This is a beautiful course, but the rough is cut so high it’s almost impossible to find any ball you hit in it. It makes it extremely frustrating and the joy of the game is lost pretty quick when you think you hit pretty good shots and balls just disappear like it’s the Bermuda Triangle. When you can’t even find a mishit you shanked 10 yards in front of you, you know it’s time to call it a day and find another course. Probably won’t ever return.

First time playing Hanover GC. The layout is a lot of fun - lots of hills, some tight driving holes and smallish greens. But, they were top-dressing the greens this morning, which meant the putting conditions were pretty awful. That being said, I’d give them another shot in the future.

This course has a wonderful layout with significant elevation changes and manicured greens. It also is visually superb..

My wife and I a great time playing the Hanover Golf Club course. We booked our reservation through Golf Now/Golf Pass and got a great deal. The staff was very courteous and professional. Met the golf pro on the driving range (Mr Barber) and he was very pleasant and personable. The course was in great shape and the weather of the charts. I highly recommend this course. Pace of play was spot on for a Wednesday. Great job.

Extremely disappointed with the conditions of Hanover Golf club. Started with the driving range, way overgrown unmown made it tough to practice well. Putting green was extraordinarily slow and we thought that the course greens would be better, they were not. Very overgrown slow and bumpy. # 8 had a temporary green. The bunkers need some serious work. Now to the worst part, the rough was so overgrown and thick that 90% of shots were basically unplayable. US open rough would pale in comparison to the mess we were trying to play out of. It does not make for a pleasant round when you spend half your time looking for your ball or those of your group rather than playing golf. Found a heck of a lot of balls that were not ours. The course had made a nice comeback and am sorry to see maintenance has been backsliding so badly.

The rough along the fairways and around the greens were high, which made it extremely difficult to find the ball. The greens were very slow because they were not trimmed and smoothed out. Some of the greens had patches of bad spots.

I would recommend this course to anyone...a very unique course. On the backside of a neighborhood and has a few holes that are like no other in the Richmond area. + the weather was perfect...All-In-All we had a great day and have been telling folks about it since we played.
