Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

One of the best for the money
I hadn't played here in over 10 years. Back then the course was always in good shape. It hasn't changed. This is a very playable course. For a course that is not expensive and gets a lot of play it is very well kept. Greens rolled very well, nice and consistent. Fairways and rough very good. Staff very friendly.
Greatest Day
Chapel Hill does not disappoint every time I play. Course is in great shape, the greens are good and roll fast. Only negative thing I can say, is not against the course, but people, fix your divot marks! I like playing this course, the staff is always friendly. This course is in my rotation of courses that I play. You can’t go wrong with this course.
Incredible Value!!
I've played Chapel Hill four or five times now, and I have to say that I absolutely love this course. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are always well manicured, the staff is friendly, and you simply can't beat the prices for the quality. I'd rather play here than most public courses in Columbus. It's worth the drive!!
Great course, better value
I play this course a couple times a year. The fairways and greens were excellent yesterday. Took just over 3 hours to play.
Course is in great shape!
I grew up in the Knox county area and have been playing this course for years. It is always well taken care of and the staff is awesome. I highly recommend playing it. The play all day deal with food/drinks included is a great way to get your money’s worth as well.
Good conditions
The course was in very good shape and the greens rolled well even though they were a little wet. Very much enjoy playing Chapel Hill and will be back. Overall staff was courteous and w respectful. The starter who was a bit rude as we drove up 3 min prior to our tee time and he seemed annoyed because the priory group was in the fairway. We pushed the group ahead of us all round anyway! Pro shop and concessions staff was great but starter was would a little too tightly wound.
When I played the course, it was in good condition, well maintained and with challenging pin placement. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cool. The only negative thing that I have to say is the fact that the pace was slow. The 4-some in front of me was too slow and they were hitting extra balls, which slowed everything down. We could have used a ranger to hurry that particular 4-some.
