Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

10/10 all the way around
As good of a golf experience as you can get, especially for the price. A Sunday AM tee time for 18 holes with a cart was just over $45 and included a free drink ticket. Pace of play was great with attentive starter and staff. Clubhouse staff were extremely friendly and professional. Excellent selection of top drawer merchandise that's reasonably priced. Course was challenging but approachable. Can't recommend enough. Worth a trip for any golfer in the area. Also a lot of awesome causes that the club obviously supports, so definitely a business you feel good supporting.
Always great
Love this place. Always in great condition. Very well priced and the staff is friendly
Friendly staff inside and out
Nice course with some elevation and can be played more challenging from the back tees.
Veteran friendly golf course with wonderful layout.
We found Chapel Hill GC on the way to Michigan from North Carolina as part of a thirty day gold road trip. My wife and I were able to get an early morning tee time at a great rate. The Staff were wonderful and accommodating and they allowed us to go out early to keep us as a twosome after asking us what we preferred.
As a Veteran, I was in awe at the length that the owners go to in support of fallen and living Veterans. The host an annual tournament that raises over $30000 for Veteran related causes. The clubhouse is inside of a renovated Church and features a snack bar and Pro shop.
The course is beautiful and is settled into the rolling hills of the Mount Vernon Ohio area. The layout was challenging and fun. We found the greens to be a little bit more faster than what we are used to in Florida. But, they run out very true.
We love this course and would definitely come back.
Challenging Course
Great course for $40 on a Friday afternoon. Lots of hills. Bunkers had a lot of rocks in them. Fairway conditions were subpar but that could be due to lack of rain/recent weather conditions. Greens were really nice and ran extremely quick. Overall this course is great for the value. Definitely worth checking out.
Chapel Hill July 22
Really enjoyable course in very good condition. Very friendly staff.
Great Course, Busy Monday
The course is in good shape, we got caught up 3 groups back by the 7th hole which was frustrating. Only finished 12 holes as a result.
The driving range was closed, we wanted to hit some balls before, but didn’t know that. So we had to wait 2 hours before our tee time with little to do.
Beautiful day, beautiful course otherwise. Front 9 is a challenge. Would recommend playing.
Got stuck behind slow outing
This place is a hidden gem. If it wasn’t for the first 9 holes taking almost 3 hours because of bad golfers in a scramble outing I would give Chapel Hill 5 stars across the board. I look forward to playing it again under different circumstances.
Worth the Drive
Drove an hour from Grove City to play Chapel Hill. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Chapel Hill is a 1st class golf course sitting on a beautiful property of rolling hills and the $37 green fee (with cart) is laughably affordable. Great track!
