Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Well maintained. Great layout. Excellent on cart GPS.

After a bit of hassle due to an apparent error with the golfnow rate, we got the deal which we booked. The gentleman in the pro shop stated that we could not receive all that was promised. Which was the all inclusive deal at a discounted rate. After some discussion we received what was expected. Me and my son played 36 holes and had a great time. One of our more memorable golf experiences.

Love this course

First time I have played this course in fifteen years because I had moved out of state. The course is just great. It's very sceenic and a lot of fun to play as well in great condition. The greens were firm and very fast. This is a must play course, especially if you like hilly terrain. I plan to play it again soon.

Excellent Course for the Money

The greens are in very good shape and rolling nicely. Excellent value, we played 18 holes with a cart for $29. It is always a little further from Columbus than you think, but very much worth the trip.

Great bargain but aweful slow pace of play

Course was in decent shape, couple of greens need require attention. For $20 with a cart was a great bargain. Booked here to finish the round with the hope of finishing the round in 3.5 to 4 hours, which has been the typical range, but not to be this time, it took 5+hrs and almost on every tee we had 3 groups waiting to tee off. There was no ranger trying to speed up the play.

A well maintained public course

This is a very nice public course. I was behind a large outing, which created the longer than normal round. Greens here were unbelievably fast , with 3 putts a real possibility even though the greens are relatively small.

Quite a few forced carries off the tee over water or ravines. Need to have a good driving day to score well here.
