Bring a book

It took us a little over 3 hrs to play the front 9 - the beverage cart took orders just yards off of the back of a par 3 green - we had to skip 4 holes on the back 9 just to break free of the back up. Bring a book to read on a Saturday.

Great shape

Herndon is one of the best maintained public golf courses in Northern Virginia. Hands down to the golf staff, kitchen staff. Truly enjoyed playing this course and will always return for play.

Best Maintained Municipal Course in the Area

The course is always well maintained. The setup is a little wonky with long walks in between holes at some points but great value for the money.

Great playing condition, nice staff, and nice food options at the turn. My only complaint would be that our gas carts felt very tired. Other than that, fantastic experience!
