Longest Hole/Waterfall at Meadows Farms Golf Course

Booked a 9am tee time for three people yesterday. Showed up and played 18 holes with all three people. Some how the course and or golf now app is saying I had a 9:20 tee time for 4 people and has charged my card for $147 for a tee time it says I didn’t show for??? Not sure who or how a separate tee time would have been made! Even more so that they expect me to pay for it. We played as a three some and the course was so busy we had 4 groups of players waiting on some of the par 5’s! Not like the slot wasn’t filled bc the course was beyond packed. For someone who had played this course 10 plus times this summer alone and spend quite a bit of money there I may have to go else where if they expect free money for nothing!

This is my second time playing this course and the conditions were very good. The fairways were maintained well and the greens were good. Had a blast playing with my brothers visiting from out of state. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I will be back soon!!

Looks a bit run down compared to previous few years, but they didn't charge me for an empty cart seat and the price is lower than other local courses if you don't mind the drive.

The course was in great shape but they had no ball cleaners very few yardage markers and no cups at the water stations.

When we rounded to the 10th hole we wanted a hot dog or sandwich but the snack bar was closed.

Yesterday, my friends and I enjoyed a round of golf at Meadows Farms Golf Course in Virginia, where we were fortunate to experience beautiful weather. The course had undergone significant improvements since last year, thanks to the diligent efforts of the staff and grounds maintenance team. While it still requires some attention, the course provided an enjoyable golfing experience, with greens that were putting on the fast side.

If you’re there to golf… this is the place. If you wanna eat they have a grill that is open but not from open to close. Not a huge selection of clothing or much else. They have a good selection of balls and gloves, but not big. Again come to golf and not much more. Carts are a bit on the older side but get the job done.

Fairways are scalped, bunkers are hard packed dirt and the green were in unreadable conditions.

Played Longest 9 holes and enjoyed it. Greens are improving every week.

I’ve played this course may of times since it’s just a local course in the area but all of these courses around the Fredericksburg area are just very overrated meaning that the fairways are spotty, the greens are alright and the tee boxes are horrid like at the meadows. I really don’t get why people play here, I guess just because they live close and they’re loyal but whoever is new to the area, only pay if u get a hot deal less then $50. It’s definitely not worth over $60 like all of these courses in the area. The layout is fun and short but if u care about ur golf and what’s worth ur money, don’t come here.
