Longest Hole/Waterfall at Meadows Farms Golf Course

Just got done playing yesterday but I will have to say they are hurting tee boxes destroyed and greens were destroyed no one fixes their divots. It looked like someone took a shotgun to the greens on most of the holes. I love this course one of my favorites. I considered this my home course. Just needs to get back to former glory.

1st time playing this course and I like it. A little quirky in areas, but that just adds to the appeal for me. Some easy holes and some very challenging holes. I’ll definitely go back.

The course couldn’t have been better. The staff and grounds were perfect. They didn’t have a drink/snack cart when we played but everything was great.

Fairways were in great shape and so were the greens

This course offers so much between elevation doglegs water sand (needs to be re worked) Island waterfall baseball field such a fun and interesting course. I took my 15 year old son and hadn't played here in 20 years, it had Rained for like 7 days striaght but they were out cutting fairways and roughs and always stopped and allowed us to play. The waterfall wad broken but they were working on it. Seems the owners just recently took it back over from a management company and I'm glad that they have you can see the effort that's being put back into it. Will play again.

It was really crowded and Jo mesh’s moving people round. By the back 9 backed up 3 foursomes!

I quit after 16 due to the back up. It was a holiday but a Marshal would have helped.

In addition they didn’t honor the $40 rate I got on Golfnow and had to pay the $70 rate for 2. So below average day and paid an extra $60.

I won’t be returning!

I play the course every Tuesday. The course in in excellent condition and the three 9 hole tracks make it fun and challenging for any level players

I like Meadows Farm golf course. I have been going here for many years. Overall course was in good shape with some exceptions. The bunkers were pretty rough and need more maintenance. Greens were in good shape and most fairways were as well. Tee boxes were mostly in fair shape. For the money you can't beat it in the area. I would have rated it higher if not for the bunkers and a few of the fairways and tee boxes.

This course has the potential to be amazing. Unfortunately the Staff and keepers have let it degrade to less than poor condition. The fairways are very spotty, every bunker has grass growing in them and rock hard sand, the tee boxes were destroyed and look like they have zero maintenance. The undulating landscape and layout of the 27 holes is beautiful and would be very fun to play with different keepers. It has an awesome set up, with a warm up hole, grass driving range, and tons of water with lots of life and flowers. The club house is well kept and pleasant which gives a good feeling about the round until you get on the grass.

Not sure why the staff is so angry but I had some Marshall (guessing since she did not have any name tag/title) screaming at me over a mistake on where to park the cart at driving range. Guest check person seemed annoyed and unpleasant and starter was abrasive!

The course conditions were really beat up and nothing was neatly maintained. All seems ashamed since the design of the three 9 holes is fun and I enjoyed playing the course. Not sure if I play again given it’s not close to northern VA and overall not a great course. Tons of potential if they had better management and staffing.
