Par Three at Windy Hill Golf Course

Aerating the greens on Easter Weekend was a poor call. They were basically unplayable.

I booked a tee time for a foursome with a carts. I was told when we got there, they were out of carts and I could walk if I wanted to. Whats the point of booking a foursome w carts if they give them all out before you get there. Besides that, terrible course condition. Pick another place, don’t bother if your looking to play golf.

Windy hill is a great course to get out on anyday. They aren’t to strict on dress code or anything like that. It’s very reasonably priced and the greens are always comparable to any public’s course in the area. Would recommend to anyone trying to get a round in

I didn't know what to expect when i pulled up and saw nothing but batting cages. They i saw the stadium like driving range (didn't even know there are such things as a sand bunker driving range). I could see my self using this facility, if i live in Richmond, as my practice before a round. I did enjoy the course little wet my day but ultimately we had fun so that works. Also hide your paintball guns in your golf back because once you start moving up the course you'll see in the woods that they have plenty of fortresses to defend your self. This place is the Jack of all sporting trades....

It is amazing that I can come to Windy Hill anytime and always leave happy! It's not because it is the most elegant or beautiful course in the area But because it's actually a fun course to play!

I usually love playing this course but not today! The fairways are just terrible as they are not enforcing their cart path only Rule. The greens were pretty good and the tees were fine but anything in between was a mess!

It never fails... Whenever I come to Windy Hill Sports Complex to play golf on the Lakes course, I have a great time!

Went for a quick 9 holes on the par 3, ended up staying to play the 9 hole lake course as well.

Greens were in EXCELLENT shape. Especially for how wet it has been lately.

For the price, this was the best day of golf I have ever had.

I really liked the layout and elevation changes. I have some walking issues and the cart path only requirement made it difficult even though I had a cart. The biggest disappointment for me was that the greens were wet and never whisked even when I started at 11 am and no rain. Would be willing to try again on a dry day and see how greens were cared for.

Appears they do not adhere to tee times nor to players cutting in from the Par 3 course. Sprinkler was on when we got to first tee so had to tee off from fairway. Lots of muddy holes and bare spots. But good value for 9 holes. You get what you pay for.

In recent years, I have usually had good times and experiences on the 9 hole lake course. As a moderate skilled player, the relatively short and open fairways have been fun to play. We have usually been able to find good deals and bargains using golf now and other on line discounts. Unfortunately, today I encountered an extremely unfriendly staff member in the pro shop. Her rudeness and overall her lack of professionalism will likely keep me away for some time. Disappointing experience.

I have been playing this course for around four years now since I moved here from Chicago and I can honestly say the greens have never looked so good! the fairways are really scruffy but if they would just mow them this could be one of the nicest courses in the area actually!

Wide open, good maintenance, no rush in the course

nice lil par 3 course. Not the worlds best kept, but it's been raining alot and course was fairly wet. Other then that got a heck of a deal on golf now and pace of play was great!
