About
Located in Montpelier, Hollows Golf Club has a 27-hole layout that is considered one of the best values in the area. The holes are divided into three nines that provide three different 18-hole combinations. The Cottage, Lake, and Road nines come with enough variety to offer something for players of all skill levels from low handicappers to more experienced players. The green fees are applicable the whole day, which allows golfers to play all three courses if they have the time and the inclination. The Cottage/Road combination only has water on one hole, but it is a memorable one. The hole is Cottage's par 3 third, which is the golf course's signature. There is not only a formidable pond along the right but also an 8-foot bunker on the left. In addition to the golf courses, the Hollows also has an all-grass driving range and putting green.

Relaxed Round
The course was in decent shape. Hole #1 was shortened to.a par 3 so that work could be done on the fairway.
Great Day
The greens were in tip top shape, just the right amount of firmness, watering and proper grooming. Well manicured greens and fairways in good shape as well as tee boxes. Ground hard so tough to plant your tees for tee shots. Fairways hard so ball rolled extra far.. Great day for scoring in spite of the wind. 8 one putts always help your score, as geens were true. People friendly and helpful but no ranger so pace of play is hit or miss. Had 3 stooges in front of us hitting multiple shots but still finished in 4 hours.
Favorite golf course!
This is by far one of my most favorite golf courses to play at in Virginia! They have 27 holes with beautiful green fairways and greens! The ownership of this course Andy and his team are the best ever! They always go above and beyond to ensure their guests are having a great time and enjoying their round of golf! I love this golf course and would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to play at a great course! A special thank you goes out to Mitch, Jerry, and Bob! These team members along with everyone else at your course are amazing and the best ever in customer service! Thank you again…… we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Great value
My first time playing this course. We chose it based on the price. I am not a person who can pay $100 a round, so I look for a value.
This course was in great shape and fun to play. I will be back and have already recommended it to others
Nice layout, tough fairway, need more grass
Even it rained the night before, the fairway is tough, compounded by less of grass, it is difficult to play unless you are used to sweeping balls all the time.
