The holes are pretty nice and fairly well maintained
The course is pretty average. The only issue that detracts from the experience is that it is often very crowded which makes a round of golf take longer than usual.
This course needs to be constantly marshalled to insure that play does not back up.!
Play this course on a regular basis and I am glad that Golf Now has added it to the list of offerings. Course is challenging and in good shape from tee to green. It is located in the middle of a municipal park, the scenery and surroundings are ideal for a quiet round of golf.
Nice parkland type golf course
The condition of the golf course was very good. Fairways were consistent and the greens were medium speed with good grass. I have played the Cardinal course many times and there is no comparison of course conditions. The Deer Run course is by far a better conditioned course than the Cardinal course and much nicer.
Good municipal course.
Course in good condition. Pace of play was good. Tough par threes
Amazing greens
It rained about 5 inches the night before playing this course, and the course was still in great shape. The greens were well maintained and rolled true.
I would recommend if some changes are made.
We were not able to get the senior rate as listed on GolfNow. We were told that you could only get that on Cardinal on the weekends. There is a big difference in price. The greens were great but the fairways were dry as a bone. Looks like they hadn't been watered in a week. Very hard ground on the fairways. For the price it's not what it's touted to be. We might play again one day after a good rain. Club house is nice and friendly. Pub is nice and good service, food and drinks were great.
