Hobbs Hole Golf Course

Great layout of course. Nice and open not too many hazards to be scared of. Some mean flies at times wile trying to put but think that’s just weather related

Course and especially the greens were in great shape. Rolled true. Tee boxes properly maintained and spaced appropriately between blue, white and gold. Nice pace of play . Only thing was grill too busy to answer the phone or have hot dogs ready. Everyone nice and friendly as always there.

The course is coming into good shape. There were 6 inches of rain for three days straight prior to our round so we started off cartpath only but the course was in great shape and drained very well. The greens were not soggy and they were consistent. This time of year they do have some mayflies that fly around if you don’t have a breeze, but the pro shop staff gave us free shots of bug spray and they didn’t bother us again. Very good value to play that quality course and the staff is outstanding.

Really like this course and the challenges that it presents. The fairways are greening up nicely after a long winter. There are still a few bunkers that need attention. Overall, the course is in great shape for this time of the year. The greens are smooth and getting faster. Playing the course is most enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Hobbs always has great greens and today did not disappoint. The pace of play was a little slower than usual. The rates have jumped up quite a bit from past years. I always love the course though and always pair up with really nice people here.

We had a great time playing Hobb's Hole for our second time. Easter Sunday, and the course was wide open at 3:30 when we teed off. We went 13 holes with no one in front of us. Then on 14, we ran up on two players in tank tops and flip flops. All of a sudden we had to wait to hit our shots. They took forever to hit, drove way past the cart signs including driving between the green and a green side bunker. Their complete disregard for the course was apparent. They played 15 and then left the course. A bit of a sour note on what was a really fun round.

Beautiful early spring day, the course is in fine shape. Bunkers are the best I've seen outside of Williamsburg. Fairways are coming along and the greens were quick but consistent. Love the hot deal with 25% MAJORS and had the first chip in birdie of the year.

Hobbs Hole is a great course for beginners and veterans alike. Not too hilly, with wide and receptive fairways. Greens can be tricky though. Love this course. Although, the bunkers need some love...some were almost unplayable...I figure they will address that soon. Consider this my 2nd home course, behind my local course. Always a fun round at the Hole.

Play this course a lot, considering I live 1 1/2 hours away. Course is greening up nicely and greens have responded well to recent aeration. However, more than a few of the bunkers are a disaster. Bunkers definitely need some love. All-in-all....even in very windy conditions....it was an enjoyable round. Really enjoy playing this course. Recommended.

First off 80 bucks is ridiculous march 29th for a course with sand tee boxes, and punched greens!

Not even a notice about punched greens.

Will take a while for me to come back after amount spent on course conditions.
