Hobbs Hole Golf Course

I love this course. It's always in great shape & the staff is great. The golf pro Troy is one of the nicest guys I know. Has great rates for private lessons (1 for $30 or 3 for $75). He took 10 strokes off my game with his knowledge. The greens were super fast, especially for the first real time in March. For the money, there is no better course around.

It was very cold and the wind was quite strong on the front nine making for difficult play, but it calmed down a bit on the back nine. This allowed me to shoot my best 9 hole score ever.

The course was in fine condition and a good challange for a twice a week golfer.

The greens were very well maintained and the course was a great value for the money. I have already recommended the course to others as a great value.

Staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape! Well maintained and challenging but not too hard! Cart girl was around about 5 times during our round which was a plus! All in all a nice course. Would definitely play there again!

Best Value for your money. Staff is great and restaurant is a great change. Bloody Mary and sandwich to start the day $5.

It was a great day, good weather. Played a little slow due to some foursomes that thought it was a tour event. Coarse is always in good shape greens roll very true. Bunkers were in good shape considering all the rain the day before. You can score here if you keep it in resonable play.

This course is about an hour from home, but it was well worth the drive. This is easily a $50-$60 course and we were able to play on a Sunday morning for under $20. Hobbs Hole is a nice course with a good setup. We played from the tips which offered a good challenge with a couple of lengthy holes. The course was in good shape and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely play here again!

The fairways are in very good condition. The greens are a little rough but it's still good. If your ball lands off the fairway you will find the rough forgiving.

The Fairways and Greens were in excellent shape for this time of year. I drove 50 miles to play the course and it was WELL worth the trip! If the course was closer to my home i would play it every week. I also enjoy the fact that they have 5 par 3's that me and my buddies can compete for near pins. The Manager Troy is top of the line when it comes to golf course managers.

The Bermuda grass has not come in yet because of the up and down weather, however, the course is very playable. It should be great in a couple of weeks. Really enjoyed our experience.

I drove about 2.5 hrs to play this course. I felt welcome and enjoyed the round. Modest course in the heart of a small, very rural town. Course is great for daily affordable golf, with enough challenge to work on your game. I played the day after heavy rains; course and bunkers were being pumped. So commenting on course conditions would not be fair. Good, basic, winter golf. If in the area, for the price, its a good bet.

This course is always in good shape - even when wet. The day we played - we walked because it was cart path only ( although not enforced) and it was a very pleasant walk - even though it was wet.

Enjoy playing there. The layout is nice, long, challenging, but friendly because to the wide fairways. The greens need a lot of work done to them. Summer time play there should be fun.

The front nine is less challenging than the back nine it is a great warmup to what happens on the back side. This is a great course for all skill levels. There are a couple of holes that require accurate drives to give you a reward if not you will struggle.
