Hobbs Hole Golf Course

Great course for the price. Nice greens and open layout. Food was also excellent!

Played 27 holes on a very hot September day. Course was in very good condition except for the greens [aerated earlier that week]. They were super soft and bumpy but should recover in about two weeks. Normally they are moderate-hard and moderately fast. Not the case this time as they were quite slow. Still a good value.

Hobbs Hole is in excellent condition. The course is not overly difficult, but still offers plenty of challenges.

I really like this course. Challenging, but fair with a nice mix of holes. Excellent greens, and overall very good from tee to green. Homes come into play on 10, 11 and 18, but even then only a very errant shot will be a problem. It's nice to be out there when it's just you and the course. Try it when you can - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Hobbs Hole is in really great shape this year. The greens were excellent and the course was in great shape. It was a warm day so we nearly had the course to ourselves. Always a great value playing here.

I play here whenever I get the chance the course is always in great condition and well worth the price.

We waited on every hole. The local guys play in 5's and 6's . That and no grass is enough to keep me from returning. We had a tee time but it did not matter it was get loaded up and go wait in line.
The bathrooms and the lunch room were closed as they had installed new carpet. Overall disappointing trip.

First time playing this course with me and my buddy. It was a pleasant surprise. Given the time of year, the course had not begun to bear fruit (greens wise) - but I could tell by the layout and the condition of the greens that come spring through fall, this course will be bordering on awesome. I loved the undulations present around most of the course - gave one a slight feeling of links with the golden hue of the dormant grass. The challenges were plenty but not too wicked for the novice (me). My golf balls are water magnets so I made my typical donation and homage to the off spring of Poseidon. Anyway, digression aside, this was a fun experience and a nice blend of value and quality. The Bald Eagle on the back 9 was a treat!

I love this course. It's always in great shape & the staff is great. The golf pro Troy is one of the nicest guys I know. Has great rates for private lessons (1 for $30 or 3 for $75). He took 10 strokes off my game with his knowledge. The greens were super fast, especially for the first real time in March. For the money, there is no better course around.

the 50 mile drive from home is worth iy. Great staff and the course was in good shape.

It was very cold and the wind was quite strong on the front nine making for difficult play, but it calmed down a bit on the back nine. This allowed me to shoot my best 9 hole score ever.

The course was in fine condition and a good challange for a twice a week golfer.

The greens were very well maintained and the course was a great value for the money. I have already recommended the course to others as a great value.

Staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape! Well maintained and challenging but not too hard! Cart girl was around about 5 times during our round which was a plus! All in all a nice course. Would definitely play there again!

Best Value for your money. Staff is great and restaurant is a great change. Bloody Mary and sandwich to start the day $5.

It was a great day, good weather. Played a little slow due to some foursomes that thought it was a tour event. Coarse is always in good shape greens roll very true. Bunkers were in good shape considering all the rain the day before. You can score here if you keep it in resonable play.

This course is about an hour from home, but it was well worth the drive. This is easily a $50-$60 course and we were able to play on a Sunday morning for under $20. Hobbs Hole is a nice course with a good setup. We played from the tips which offered a good challenge with a couple of lengthy holes. The course was in good shape and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely play here again!

The fairways are in very good condition. The greens are a little rough but it's still good. If your ball lands off the fairway you will find the rough forgiving.
