Hobbs Hole Golf Course

The course was in great condition. The fairways were lush and easy to hit from and the greens were rolling nicely. I would only hope that more people would fix their ballmarks so the greens can stay nice. Bunkers were in good shape and the rough was not overly long but could make shots more difficult when the ball sat down a bit. After round, food and service at the bar was as good as always, friendly and tasty.

Fairways and greens were in great shape. I played on a Labor Day Monday so pace of play wasn't the greatest but still finished in 3:45. I play this course regularly and it has yet to let me down. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on mondays which is the only day I can make it out

Great course, in great condition, and very nice layout. Have played it about 5 times in the past 4 weeks. Very well maintained. Staff responsive and helpful. I live about 1.5 hours away, and enjoy taking that drive to this course.

The only bad thing about Hobbs Hole was that there should have been a Green Aeration alert. The greens were recently done and there was small holes and sand filled. It was not horrible but I would have not played there yet. I did not call the course prior to booking since I thought every course had aerated long before. The course is really filling in nicely, fairways are looking better and better. Some areas are like hitting from a perfect mat. Staff is always great and they have good food. The greens should be healed in a couple weeks depending on weather.

This is one of my favorites and I try to play it every Wednesday. I have never found it crowded and the pace of play is excellent. There is a mixture of very player friendly holes and a few where you need precision in order to score well.

This was my first time playing here. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Gave us a yardage book and explained about their course. Course was in great shape for April. Only issue was the group of 4 ladies that wouldn't let anyone play through. (One took 13 shots to get out of the sand trap...yes 13, my dad counted). Other than that, NO issues at all! Will certainly come back and hope this review helps!

Winter conditions and grass was dormant when we played. But overall a fun and challenging course. Worth the money for the "Hot Deal" but probably wouldn't pay more than that during the winter months.

First time playing the course and was able to grab a hot deal for an 11:00 AM tee time. The pro shop was well stocked and staff was very friendly. We stopped by pro shop at the turn and were asked how we were enjoying our round and given a brief overview of the pro shop for snacks and where to go for additional food items.

The course has a nice layout with a good mixture of holes. We liked the varying lengths for the par 3's.

Staff is always great, food is excellent and the course conditions were very good, especially for this time of year.

Never played here because for me it was a little out of the way. A friend convinced me to give it a try so I played Hobbs Hole for the 1st time in early October. Didn't expect much and I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it enough to come back 3 weeks later. Layout was not exceptionally challenging but fair and the greens were in WONDERFUL condition. Would definitely play again!

Nice course set out in the country side. Driving range needs some work, putting green was nice and staff friendly. First hole par 5 at 500+yards to second hole par 3 of 110-120 yards. Thought the course was nice and layout was good. Most fairways wide open. Couple greens showed some bad patches but most of them were nice. Ball rolled a little inconsistent on greens. Some greens faster than others but they all broke true. Used all clubs in the bag during the round. A ton of twosomes on the course that day. Beverage cart prices were excellent.

Well maintained (from practice green and range through #18). Fairly forgiving with risk / reward opportunities for errant shots. Very nice pro shop, pro is most helpful, nice restaurant, carts excellent -all in all shows a lot of caring about the course and customers. Not as fancy as some high-dollar venues; but many of us prefer the down-home approach.
