#16 Par three.Auburn CG Photo submitted by PaulBader on 04/03/2013
Nice Track
First 6 holes rather ordinary, but starting with #7 became more interesting and challenging: doglegs, elevation changes, risk/reward options & scenic enjoyment. Would play again.
The course with great greens
Great course for the value. You can't beat it!! The greens are always in great shape I will be back!!
Nice fairways and soft running greens
Out at 5:30am and the greens were perfect. The best I have ever played on here at Auburn. This in the past has not been my favorite course. Although this time my mind was blown away on how dry the course was even though it had just rained hours before our round. The greens ran perfect. They were soft and smooth.
I will be back more now that I have had this renewed love for the course. The staff every time is very polite and make it easy to come back. They get me right out, answer all my questions and takes care of my group no matter what the request.
thank you Auburn we will be back soon. FOREEEEE!!!
good place to get in a round.
Not overly tough but a challenge for a first-time round.
Weather was rather warm(low 90's), beverage cart a little slow on making the rounds for such a warm day.
I really did enjoy the golf,(even though I played bad).
Pin placement on #16 made for very difficult putts, no level ground to be seen.
Auburn golf course
Course was in excellent shape. Fun course. slow pace. Will definitely play there again.
Gem
Very nice course kinda hidden off the path. The course is in very good shape and has some very creative holes, where you have to think a little. The pace was a little slow, but there's some short holes that can slow you down a little for a lot of amateurs including myself. I will definitely be back.
Pace of play
They booked a fivesome in front of us on a Sunday afternoon. Pace of play was awful.
Nice Course
The course was in good shape and the greens were nice.
Two challenging and fun holes
Two particular holes that stick to you. Signature hole, #9, features water and options to reach the green. And the 16th par 3 over a pond is challenging yet a fun hole.
FUN COURSE, FORGIVING!
LOVE THIS COURSE, WISH I COULD PLAY AT THIS COURSE MORE OFTEN. I LIVE IN LYNNWOOD WHICH IS A 1 HOUR. THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW COURSE WHICH IS VERY FORGIVING. PLUS THE OTHER GOLFERS THAT PLAY THAT COURSE WAS REALLY FRIENDLY,
Bring water and use bathroom
There is no water on course for you to drink and not even out houses on course... Punched greens about week old I'd say they did them... Putts still stayed on line
Long time coming.
Years ago, I golfed here with vendors and golf tournaments always enjoyed but than that all ended for some reason about 15 years ago. Now that I work in the area this defiantly will be a weekly outing for me .Plus with this restaurant and patio for the sunny days tops it all, Great food and service as well.
Greens just plugged
Did not know the greens were plugged till we got to the first green. for some reason they installed cups the size of dinner plates. There was not enough sand on the greens to fill the plugs. The equipment used to do the plugging seemed to lift the grass. It was if the grass was laying there like an unstretched blanket. The course started us off on the back nine when we got to the 2nd nine a foursome had slipped in between the group in front of us and we had 12 people, representing 4 groups on the same hole. Told the martial who pretended to do something but they actually never talked to any one. The golf was so slow we skipped the last 3 holes and went into the club house for a drink.
4+ Hrs ofr 9 Holes
This course is too crowded, there is no starter on the tee box, groups of 5 & 6 going out. It took the group i was in over 4 hours to complete just 9 holes. All of us had paid for 18, but walked off after the 9th. I will probable not play this course again this summer.
Fun course, great value
Played on a 60 degrees nice, sunny day after days of rain. Course has pretty good drainage especially on fairways despite the wet condition. No ball washers anywhere though.
I played here a few times before, and booked the tee time on GolfNow for $22 with a cart for 18 hole!! Can't beat that! New golf carts!!!
Stopped by to get a few hot dogs and beer midway - pretty fast service but the dogs were cold and the buns stale… Alas, can't win 'em all. Despite that, 19th hole is comfortable with a friendly staff. Food is not bad with a variety of snacks to hearty items to pick from.
Great under the wet conditions
The layout was different. It truly was very thoughtful on trying to use the land with different setups for the majority of the holes and it's perfect for the shot maker.
Now, I know it was wet so there were some greens that were very slow but it was manageable. There was a threesome in front of our twosome that would not budge and they actually work there. Very inconsiderate really but we still got to enjoy it.
Sunny and warm February Golf
Picture perfect day, full sun, low 60's. Even after 3 dry days in a row, course was mushy in many places, but didn't matter. Felt good to be out. Great rate too.
Easy Course
The course was still wet but playing in February that's to be expected. It's very easy to play, with little to no blind shots. Only a few water hazards but most are easy to avoid. It was my first time out this season and this was a great course to get back into the swing of things with. Would recommend
Surprisingly Green was a good shape in winter
It's been very wet winter but this course is a decent shape.
Specially green.
I did enjoy playing here.
I'll be back.
