Very Nice!
Conditions very good considering heavy recent rains.Staff very friendly and impressive views combined with excellently maintained greens.
Soggy
Still a great value and good course, but it's incredibly soggy right now, more so than I remember years past. Some parts are virtually unplayable they're so muddy and soft.
offseason doesn't have to be this bad
booked as a single via GolfNow, but I was paired up with a different group to go out on time because the threesome I was on the sheet with showed up as a four-some, and five minutes late. On the bright-side, they were complete knuckleheads and were putting out on 16 when we walked off 18. Restaurant closed, fairways and rough were muddiest I've seen all Winter.
Great value for the money.
Really wet day but overall had a great experience. Will be back during the summer for sure!
excellent especially of the time of the year
Restaurant was changing hands so it was closed. Sounds like long horn barbecue is taking over so that is a definite plus
Fun even in the rain
Great coarse!!!! I've only been golfing just over a year and I like to play this coarse because it has it all. I did manage two birdies in the rain :) GO HAWKS!!! GET LOUD 12'S ALL THE WAY TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!
no hot food
when we were there, the restaurant was closed down. so we ate chips, and candy. wish I would have known, I would have brought something, our went to another course.
great course
On a winter day nice pace great course.one are two wet spots.
Pretty course to play
Nice to play with up and down. It's not flat it has changes in each hole. But, the Green is not wide. (Some of them is big)
Winter golf in the NW
The Auburn Golf Course was very busy on one of our rare days of clear weather. As a result the pace of play was about the same a a busy summer weekend day, not fast. We had a large amount of week the previous week so it was no surprise there were lots of wet, muddy areas. Since that was expected it did not detract from our day on the links. Play this course if you get the chance.
Winter
Sadly, it was a beautiful day for golf, but horrible conditions. Understandably, after some recent rains, they would not allow carts on the fairway. We were at least 30 minutes behind because of that. It would have been much better if they only allowed walking. The course was saturated. Super sloppy in most places. The pace was so slow, we only got 11 holes in, where we should have been able to complete 18. The staff were awesome. I will try this again when Summer is back. Way too wet of a course sitting next to a river.
A nice course but no for winter
Course is too wet, lots of fairways were still too wet to walk. not recommanded for winter.
Fun course, well kept. More elevation than expected!
The course was very wet the day we played but the greens were rolling surprisingly quick. If it had not rained the previous two days i would expect the fairways to be a bit shorter, but other than that fun course. Some great tricky elevated shots!
Winter wonderland
For October the place was in great shape even with all the rain. Little soft in spots but played we'll and can't beat the deal!
excellent! !!!!
6 weeks after aeration course was in excellent condition. Will play again.
Not too bad
Overall it was a decent round of golf. The weather obviously played a huge factor in being a fun time to play. The most annoying thing was the fact that the starting hole was No. 10, not No. 1. Also it would be nice if the green could be swept prior to play to have the excess water being removed to provide a greater putting experience as some greens do not get much sunshine early in the day. Other than that the coulrse was good.
Hit and Run
Sunday, October 5th the weather was excellent. After finishing my round, I came out to the parking lot to find my car had been hit. There was significant damage to the rear bumper. No note was left. I checked with the club house and nobody had reported it or saw it happen. I was told this has happened before but as they have no cameras in the parking lot I am not left to pay for the damages myself. This round of golf will now cost me about $750.00! Be mindful of where you park here and make sure to take pictures of the surrounding vehicles and license plates before you leave. If anyone saw the accident on Sunday the 5th will you please reply to this or contact the golf course directly. Thank you.
6hr Round
My review is mixed because I DON'T like slow play one bit...Staff was awesome, course was in good shape, greens rolled nice and it was $20 which included cart...so take my review for what it is I DON'T like playing a 6hr round golf thats just ridiculous...but if you're in no hurry the course n staff is in good.
sold us beer from 2011
Sold us sour beer from 2011, check your inventory much? Also, they just spit people out without caring about the pace of play. No wonder it was a "good deal." Took over 5 hours, waited on every hole, sometimes for two groups.
