sold us beer from 2011
Sold us sour beer from 2011, check your inventory much? Also, they just spit people out without caring about the pace of play. No wonder it was a "good deal." Took over 5 hours, waited on every hole, sometimes for two groups.
Slow Play
Had a tee time at 2:24 pm but they tried to push us out at 2:17 pm only to be backed up by hole three with three groups on the hole at once. Saw the cart girl once and the sold us sour beer from 2011. The deal showed for $25.00 with cart as a hot deal but was really closer to $37 - $40 after online fees and taxes so really it looks like your getting a great deal but your paying $25 for the golf and $15 for the cart at twighlight.
Could have been great experience.
Course and weather fantastic , was windy which added an enjoyable difficulty to the course. The marshals however didn't do their job and allowed the foursome with two walkers and little skill to lag behind the group in front of them to the point where there was a four hole gap. A huge logjam occured and soured everyone's mood and swing. Any other course would have ushered them along or asked them to pick up or pack up. We asked the marshals at the turn to take care of it. But they never even came by to patrol for the remaining 9holes. Groups behind us were asking where the marshals were as well since we all had time to chat on the tees.
Crowded but nice
Really poor course management in terms of getting groups out. My tee time was 2:20 and didn't get out til 3. The whole time sitting on the first tee with 4 other groups waiting to see who gets out. But course was in great shape and a great mix of holes. Will play again and often
poor greens
Always loved this course. Course was beat up! No warning about sanded greens that were horrible! Like playing temporary greens! Full of ball marks too! Won't play here again for a while. Very disappointed! Should have gotten a refund.
Slow
Had a tee time for 3:40 on a Sunday. Didn't tee off until after 4:00. Four and a half hours later the sun was setting and we were only on 13. A sketchy looking guy was driving around in the ranger cart telling us it was our last hole we could ride; return the carts and walk afterwards if you want to. Course is nice; decent value. Food is good and inexpensive for a golf course restaurant/bar.
But it was overbooked to the point where it wasn't fun. 15-20 minute wait at each tee box. Be careful when playing here, especially twilight. If you don't give yourself 6+ hours, you don't have a shot at finishing 18 holes.
good course
course is in great shape. front nine backs up a little, but well worth playing
Suprises - A most enjoyable round of golf
We were pleasingly surprised on the condition of the course. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape Hadn't played the course for a number of years and now will definitely go back again.
Auburn
I have played Auburn many times and I never get tired of it. The fairways are in great condition and the course is challenging. It has become one of my favorite golf courses.
Nice course/very slow
Course is on goid shape, greens were very good . Pace of play was agonizingly slow. No course marshall. Made for a very long day.
Nice day on the course
Playing with a friend we were paired up with a super friendly couple that were up here from their home in Palm Springs. We enjoyed our round and the course was in really good shape. I found the front nine played extremely easy compared to the back nine where some slopes made a big difference. The beverage cart was frequently available and nice to have on a warm non weekend day!
Great municipal course
I enjoyed the diffferent terrains and elevation changes on the course. Great maintenance of the grounds and the course. I LOVE the signature hole with the waterfall...I was lucky enough to see it being turned on and was able to follow the water flow from beginning to end...what a sight! That only added to the positive experience I had had up until that hole. It made the round complete.
Fun and challenging course
Bunkers, water hazards, up and down hill, sloping fairways, a fun course to play.
very nice
I used to play this course 15+ years ago and I was very surprised how much the course and facilities have been improved. Everything was in great shape, thanks guys, good job.
Great pace of play in the am
Staff was great and the pace of play was lovely. Course is kept up. Will defiantly play here again in the near future.
Marathon Golf
Beautiful course however 6 hours for 18 hols make even me tired. At times we were waiting for two to three groups to complete a hole. There is no rhythm when you have to wait for every hole.
scenic
A good test of golf and a fun course to play, always enjoy my round.
great day for golf
Great day to play. Course was crowded, and as a twosome we had to wait quite a bit. Course was in good condition. Could have some marshals to speed up the very slow players. And many divots in the fairway not replaced (no sand mix in the carts)
picturesque on several holes
Fun to play and would do it again. Easy to get to from Seattle or Tacoma.
Worth a play
Course was in good shape although the pace of play was slow and we saw no mashall
