Camaloch Golf Club
About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

Reviews
Fun course for golfers of all abilities.
The front nine has several up and back holes, but the back nine is interesting for it's variety of hills, traps and water. The greens were as good as any I have played this year. However, aerification began on 9/15.
greens were fast ball was going a long way ground very hard very fun to play
this course plays very diff thru the seasons allways a fun time cant get enough .
Good time ruined by one guy
We were having a great time playing, until we went ordered food To go from the rockaway. Kyle, the bartender was rude and we felt like we were an inconvenience and that he was doing us a gigantic favor by giving us food. Will probably never go back because of that guy. There are other courses that will be more appreciative of our business.
nice
As usual the course played very nicely well manicured with smooth rolling greenns
Well Maintained Course
First time I play here and love it. The course is well maintained and the staff is friendly and courteous.
Fun course, cold beer, by the sound
Great course by Puget Sound on camano island. Excellent new clubhouse bar with good drinks.
Course is in good shape!
My brother-in-law and I got out for a round and were pleasantly surprised. We booked a tee time on GolfNow that came with a bucket at the range. We weren't able to get there early enough to hit it but the staff were very flexible and allowed us to hit the range and then jump on the tee at a later slot.
The course is in good condition. The fairways are clean and all of the bunkers had beautiful sand. I spent more time in them than I would have liked too. But overall the conditions were nice and people were playing at a good pace despite there being a lot of people on the course. I will be playing here again!
weekend golf is always slow
This course is a decent course, the staff could be a little nicer when it comes to working with customers-it seems like a hardship to be nice!
Solid course for all players.
This course has some forgiving fairways mixed with difficult trees to work around so it is not just bombs away on every fairway. Challenges the better players with those obstacles.
Nice little course
I did play this course about 10 years ago and it has had a facelift in the interim. The pace of play was great, the course Marshall is friendly and very helpful. We played the course in less than 3 hrs. 45 minutes from a cart
Super time
Always a great round at Camaloch, always well manicured and the greens are the finest in washington
The Belt
Always a Great course to play anytime of year Well manicured and some of the best greens on the west coast bar none.
Comfortable to players
I felt very comfortable during whole play. And I didn't give any stress to anyone to play together with me.
Close fairways
The course was very busy spent a lot of time waiting. The fairways are very close together so you have to watch for other golfers hitting their balls into you. The course is in good shape the greens are very good and fast. I would have given it more stars if the fairways were not so close.
More people on the course than I expected
Great day on the course, nice two-nurses that we were paired with so it made the round nice. The greens were in good shape and so was the course. The edges were a little thick, but the fairways were great.
Bang for the buck!
You would be hard pressed to find a golf course anywhere that offers a more playable, cost friendly experience. Did I mention the conditions were amazing???
Definitely off the beaten path but well worth the trip!
Course Management
If would have stopped after 9 holes the review above would have been better.
My son and I drove from Bothell WA ( 40 miles ) to play and were really looking forward to it. The front nine was fine no waiting at all. But on the back nine all of a sudden we have thee groups ahead of us and we had to wait over 10minutes per hole. The reason is because these people were jumping around to different holes instead of playing the course correctly. If a Marshal would have been present maybe something could have been done. It spoiled a good day. I play allot of golf with allot of different people and when asked about playing Camaloch I will be honest. ( Don't) We spent a $100 dollars to play plus another $40 on food and beverage. I can play just as good or better courses closer to home. It's to bad because it is a nice course.
this course has alot to offer.
Made the reservation with golfnow for the next day, arrived a little early, the staff could not have been more pleasant and got us out right away, ahead of a club event so we wouldn't have to wait around. The course was in great shape, ordered food at the turn from a phone at the ninth tee box, It was ready by the time we got down there and the whole day was really pleasant. try it, you'll like it.
Nice challenging course
Course management is the most important skill required here. Both short- and long-game are challenged. Holes 12 thru 16 take full concentration and precise shot-making.
