About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

20 minutes from home but don't
play more than a few times a year mostly because of speed of play. But for just over $20 pretty good deal and it wasn't overly crowded, sunshine and usually great greens, only issue were the greens are just growing out of spring aeration, a couple weeks and they should be great.

Fun course
Played 1:30 TT on a Friday, pace was great never had to wait on a tee box. Lots of singles or doubles out that day so pace was great. Course has some narrow fairways on some holes. The greens here are fast and lots of uneven putts if you care about your score I’d suggest taking a 360 degree look at your put. Very nice course give it a go, I’ll play it again anytime.

The course is in good shape but I started at 3:45 and we waited on most holes...a few weeks ago we started at lunch time and the pace of play was much faster
