Camaloch Golf Club
       About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

HIDDEN GEM
This is a great layout that is challenging for the better player and playable by the higher handicap player. Best course for the money.
Terrible Lay Out
Watch out for balls. No really so many people screaming fore right. Keep your head on a swivel.
Great course, friendly staff
Course is in good conditions even after a couple days of rain. Watch out for flying balls around the middle of 5, 6, 7, 8 fairways. Switchbacks with people playing slices into each other. Recommended going during the week!
Staff in the pro shop is very friendly and willing to help at all times if needed.
Pace of play is pretty slow at times, anticipate about a 5hr round here.
Great day
Super friendly lady greeted me. Nice push carts. Teed off on time. Walked 18 in under 4 hrs. Green designs are super fun with lots of jellybean shapes and strategically placed bunkers. Sand in traps was perfect throughout course. Greens but well and rolled smooth although a little slow. Fairways were good but had clay underneath grass. A few holes were too close to homes. On site bar and restaurant was really good. Overall a really fun and nice course with outstanding customer service.
Watch out for flying balls!
The layout mean hacks are spraying balls at you from other fairways. Watch out. Our cart got hit once and all of us in our group almost got hit at least twice. Best played early or late on a weekday to avoid the hacks.
Feels Like a Private Course
This is such a nice place and well worth the green fees. Highly recommend.
Fairways not mowed
Fairways not mowed, but I know it was soggy. Pace of play was lousy, over 5 1/2 hours. Too many people on the course.
Like this course, but….
Fairways soaked and desperately needed to be cut. Greens in pretty good shape but inconsistent speeds Maybe wait til summer to play here. I lost 2 balls that plugged in the fairway and impossible to find
Lucky Play Thru
Track was in great shape for time of year, fairways were great and greens rolled well. Luckily I had two twosomes in front who let me (solo) play through, walking it in just over 3 hours.
Still recovering
Overall, course is in good shape the greens are still recovering from fall aeration. Greens should be back to normal in a couple weeks.
Nice greens
Hot sun brought the golfers out, over 5 hour round. A little dry in places but to be expected, it has been very dry. Always love the greens, pretty quick and they will hold a ball. well worth the money.
Always a nice track to walk
Had a great day only downside is seeing a marshal 3 times and never telling a threesome who were obviously “part of the old boys club” play like tortoises and never told to speed up. They even gave me attitude when I asked to play through on the 9th. By time I was heading to the 17th they were not even on the green at 13.
Tournament Day
I was unable to rent a power cart as the tournament that began earlier that day had them used up. The pro shop had one juiced up and ready for me at the turn so that was greatly appreciated. It was a nice day on the course and I even was able to shoot a new low personal score for this course.
