Camaloch Golf Club
About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

Course was a joy to play, fun along with being more than fair in its layout. Condition’s were excellent.
Dan
Course was quite enjoyable to play, moderately challenging but enjoyable. Greens, tee boxes, sand traps, were in good shape. Fairways were good but not great. If this course was close to where I live I would play it quite often. Clubhouse eating was great and the people more than friendly. My first time on Camano Island there is not much negative I could say about the town or the course.
Ok but not great
Pace of place was very slow. Not the fault of the course but perhaps course marshal could have done a better job of encouraging players to pick up the pace. No beverage cart which was disappointing on a hot Saturday afternoon. Fairways were very hard. Greens were is good shape.
Nice time
Course in good condition considering all the rain we've had. A few temporary greens were disappointing, but I understand the need to preserve the course. I'd go back again.
Monday's green fee is $30 and I paid $28 for Golf Now. I paid $15 for the golf cart not included. In the end, I felt a little uncomfortable because there was a result of paying more expensive including commission and tax. It would be nice if it was clearer whether the golf cart was included or not.

The course was fine, but I ended up paying more than I would have if I booked with the pro shop.
Course Layout
I enjoyed the course....not crazy about the layout. Challenging holes which require accuracy on some of the narrow fairways. Staff was very welcoming, course was in very good condition. I didn't like the lax requirements on golf attire. ( tank tops??? really?) I would definitely play it again.
Beautiful Course!
Our first time playing here and we will definitely return. The course is in great condition and the greens albeit a little faster than we're used to, our very smooth. The Rockaway restaurant/bar, is outstanding. It was the icing on the cake. Oyster poboy and Portobello fries are fantastic.
Great value and we'll kept greens
First time here. Course was in good condition considering the March rains. Fairly dry and drainage is exceptional. Greens are very well done here, with putts rolling true and smooth. Signage is confusing for 1st timers on the 7 and 8 tees and my party actually missed an entire hole due to confusion. We got a par nonetheless
Bar staff was excellent and we enjoyed Daphne and her positive vibes.
I will be coming back!
Fun course -
Had a great round of golf here at what is a fun course to play. Greens were in great shape and fairways were nice as well. Love the fact that compared to other courses this time of the year, Camaloch drains well and fast allowing for ease while playing 90 degrees from cart vs so many courses here as cart path only. Made for a great fun round.
