Camaloch Golf Club
About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

Beautiful Course!
Our first time playing here and we will definitely return. The course is in great condition and the greens albeit a little faster than we're used to, our very smooth. The Rockaway restaurant/bar, is outstanding. It was the icing on the cake. Oyster poboy and Portobello fries are fantastic.
Great value and we'll kept greens
First time here. Course was in good condition considering the March rains. Fairly dry and drainage is exceptional. Greens are very well done here, with putts rolling true and smooth. Signage is confusing for 1st timers on the 7 and 8 tees and my party actually missed an entire hole due to confusion. We got a par nonetheless
Bar staff was excellent and we enjoyed Daphne and her positive vibes.
I will be coming back!
Fun course -
Had a great round of golf here at what is a fun course to play. Greens were in great shape and fairways were nice as well. Love the fact that compared to other courses this time of the year, Camaloch drains well and fast allowing for ease while playing 90 degrees from cart vs so many courses here as cart path only. Made for a great fun round.
Good course for couples
Good choice of tee boxes for all levels of golfers. Challenging, but not exceptionally difficult.
Fun tough track
First time and what a blast. Of course I picked a day of 20 mph winds and that was a hoot. Definitely plays harder with the wind up. Greens rolled great till I got to 12 from there on they were covered in buds, pine cones and tree debris. Fairways were hard and provided great roll out. Greens were slightly inconsistent with speed. Would definitely play again, hopefully with a little less wind.
Camaloch / great
The only thing I can complain about is my game. The course was great , except that it had rained and a few of the traps were holding a little water. Great day on the course! Great staff ! Will be returning .
Great get away play
Though a little way away from the typical courses I usually play, the extra drive was worth it as this is a fun curse with a nice set up. Nice warm up area. Well worth the extra drive to get there. ,
Always Fun!
This is my "go to" course and I continue to find it challenging and enjoyable. Staff is super friendly, course is well groomed and just challenging enough to always enjoy.
Camaloch golf course
State of mind, friendliness, good attitude, pleasantries amongst fellow golfers, golf etiquette, are needed at any course in order to enjoy your highly paid round... These things are definitely missing at camaloch!
In contrast I’ve been bullied by other “golfers”, nasty comments, rude cut in front of you type “golfers” from course house owners, SLOW play, they aren’t courteous to let better golfers play through, and incredible attitudes, I have felt bad or upset throughout most of my experiences there.
The “in crowd”counter help are not glad you are using their business, no deals that make sense, Golfnow deals require min 2ppl.
There are so many courses around close by, drive a little it’s definitely worth it!
Although the Golfnow deal shows up online, they insist on the printed version and will let you wait till your tee time while NO ONE tees off.
There was little play that day ( they punched the greens that very day )
The rates at this course are way more than it’s worth. The only time I’ll play here is on a Golfnow deal .
Lots of 2 somes
Pace of play was ok despite the Marshall coming by on hole 6 and telling my 3 some to push the 2 some ahead of us. They were waiting on every shot. Thought the Marshall jumped the gun a bit. But at least he was trying. Tough layout if you don't hit it straight.
Excellent Condition, fun course
I've golfed at Camaloch several times due to its convenient location for me. This year the course is in the best condition I've experienced. The greens are always some of the best around.
The course is a lot of fun and laid out well. It provides enough challenge for most golfers to have a great time but plays well for beginners and high handicap golfers.
During the fall/winter months it can get pretty wet but hey we live in Washington State!
My only complaint can be pace of play at times. Because many holes have fairways that parallel an opposing fairway you often run into golfers in your fairway or find yourself in theirs. This can slow play down waiting for each other etc..
Staff is always very friendly and accommodating and they have a nice driving range and carts that are well cared for and in good condition.
Great local Course
The course was in excellent condition, greens were true and in perfect condition
