Camaloch Golf Club
About
Camaloch Golf Course is located within the Puget Sound "Sun Belt," which receives only half of the nearby rainfall of nearby courses. Its location on Camano Island also puts it at an advantage during the summer months when the temperatures rise up to the 90s on the mainland, the golf course stays cool thanks to the coastal breezes. The course first opened with nine holes in 1972 and expanded to an 18-hole course in 1991. Known for its smooth and consistent greens, Camaloch G.C. has long been a local favorite. The layout starts with a gentler front nine that features wide fairways and fewer hazards. The back nine becomes much more difficult with several holes that play over water. Camaloch Golf Course's undulating greens putt fast and true, and they are often accompanied by strategically placed bunkers.

Beauty!

Camaloch Good for the money
This is great course for the money. Greens are fast and fair, however the layout on the back nine is quirky,. The fairways are a little sketchy as to grass type and mowing.
This course was well kept
The greens on this course were amazing. Overall this course was in great shape. Although not a very hard course, the greens made it very challenging.
Nice course
I love to play here its not hard and it's not easy round but little challenge.
Course is dry even rains
Nice price too.
Friendly and relaxed atmosphere
Played this course on Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. The course itself is a bit eclectic versus other bigger name development courses in the area but it's a real fun course and has you smiling as you play it. The people are friendly and it's a relaxed stop at the turn.
It's worth a pit stop for food after playing especially on a sunny day. the atmosphere in the bar area is chilled there's a great selection of beer on tap and the fish and chips were fresh and tasty I will be back was worth the drive up from Seattle.
Nice layout pretty countryside setting
Coarse has a challenging layout in good shape for all the rain we've had
Let the trees be your friend
Very impressed with putting greens , can't wait to try it again in the summer .
Wait for it to dry out a little.
This is a great small track. Risk reward is available on many holes. True but small greens put a premium on iron ball striking. Lots of fun and a terrific value for the money. Just make sure it's dried a bit as 15-18 are kind of swampy. Not anything the superintendent and turf crew can do with so much water by the retention ponds, there's just no where for the water to go. Once it's dried out, course manicuring is excellent most of the time with true greens and firm fairways.
MUD
I think the staff should have told us the conditions when we booked and especially when checked in. The fairways were swamps. The grass was 3 to 5" tall. I realize that the fairways could not be mowed because the course was saturated. Every shot was plugged, impossible to find your ball! Greens in great shape. Just let the public know before you take their money!.
Great Course Questionable Customers
First off, it was the lowest priced round of golf I've ever played thanks to Golf Now, or whatever that on-line coupon was called. Second, considering it's been raining cats and dogs for months, the course was surprisingly in playable condition. A few plugged balls here and there but overall, very playable. My only beef was the couple that teed off in front of us decided to play 2-3 balls each while each hit went 10-20 yards and all that while they held a baby. When I asked if we could play through, he got snippy. We thought about skipping over a hole to get away but he finally let us go. The management may want to monitor such activity and deal with it accordingly. Overall though, it was a good afternoon, thank you.
Sunny Beatiful Weather but SOGGY fairways
Incredibly beautiful sunny day on the last day of winter. It was a pleasure to be out there. The staff was friendly and attentive. The greens were really in great shape. The only downer were the fairways. Balls plugged and disappeared on most every fairway. It was a game of golf ball hide and seek. NOT the best draining course, but the setting made up for it!
Camaloch
Great course, well worth the value for a little travel. Friendly staff, well maintained. Has some challenges, be on your game and look forward to round. Greens are awesome pin placement will make you work at putting some.

Sunny Sunday
Beautiful weather to play a nice course with superb greens!
Very enjoyable round
The course was in very good condition, especially the greens which have been great every time I've played there. There are several risk-reward holes which make things interesting. I could have played better, but I had fun, the weather was great and the clubhouse staff (Connie) added to the enjoyment. Their 19th hole is new and looks good, but I didn't partake of their fares.
great dat
the coarse was in great shape. the greens were very good .great club

Greens are very nice. Course is in good shape
Pace of play is slow. At the 2nd hole, there were 4 groups on the hole and two open holes in front
