EagleSticks Golf Club

I have been playing EagleSticks a few times a year for awhile now and find it to be one of my favorites in central Ohio. There are many memorable holes and the course has always been very well maintained. The restaurant and bar area are also top notch.

I was excited to play Eaglesticks after reading a bunch of reviews and what not, the course itself is GREAT.Beautiful well maintained and great elevation changes and rolling hills. The ONLY problems I had were two fold, one was according to the own courses websites all carts are equipped with gps which they weren't, and two the course was so full the pace of play was brutal. the first two holes were a little slow but by the time we got to the third hole there was a back up of about 6 groups it was brutal! the round was just not fun after that because we had to wait plus everyone from behind caught up and then it was just speed golf. which is never my ideal golf day. I would very much recommend the course as it was fun and beautiful just make sure the course is not packed when you do so.

We had a very nice day at Eaglesticks. The staff is super friendly and would recommend making the drive to Zanesville to play the course.

Nice course. Was in good condition for the rain they have had greens were also in good shape.

Went to play 18. Had several foursomes in front of me that were playing together. On one hole I waited 27 minutes, it took me 3 hours to play 9 holes of golf. I left after the 11th hole, I ran out of time.

When I came in the GM asked me how my round went. I told him, he went in a gave me a free 9. Eagle Sticks is my home course for a reason. The course is beautiful and the staff is great. I brought my two daughters along with me and they were treated great by the staff and customers.

This review shows that they want to make you have a great experience. I've played here dozens of times and this would be my only negative experience which was handled.

5 hour and 40 minutes to play. Convinced groups cut in on two. Good people, cute girls working, nice layout. Greens need some attention. But there needs to be a hammer to drop on slow play

greens hold on approach shots, 5.5 hours for 18 holes, waiting on every hole, every shot, challenging course, greens look rough but roll decent, very fast. Yardage was off on a lot of holes, advanced golfers should play the tips/gold tees, they are shorter than what the sign/card states, according to my gps which has been correct since I used it at several courses the past few months. staff courteous, beverage cart girl was out there a lot, good thing, they ran out of drinking water on several holes by evening time-3pm area

Raining for 3 days in Dayton so we saw a window of opportunity in Zanesville at Eaglesticks. Glad we did. Although it was cart path only in this day,(so wet there's no way you could take a cart in the fairway) it was a pleasure to play here. Stunning layout! So many elevation changes and many postcard holes. Played from the tips and although there are 4 450yd. par 4s from here there's also many shorter holes. Greens are well thought out for each hole. Every hole a challenge but playable from different tees for everyone. Will return later in the summer when it's drier.

The clubhouse is very nice and the staff was great. Food was excellent. The course is very nice, but I believe rides the coat tails of it's former self. In the first years, this course was rated as one of the top 10 public courses in the country. It was pristine. Today it is an average to just above average course. The layout is still great, but the quality of the fairways and greens are not what you would expect for a $46 green fee. I would not make the journey to play the course without a discount.

Was rained out on this day, but have played this course many times and love it.

We played the white tees, which are relatively short, but for our overall skill level it was perfect, had a great time.

The course was great. The sand traps were very well maintained,something a lot of other courses should do. I would play this course more often if it was closer to hom.

Excellent course layout with rolling hills. A good mixture of long and short par 4s, three good par 5s and a nice assortment of par 4s. The course plays firm and fast. Some 9 irons and wedges that looks to be close trickled away to outside birdie range. The course does not use marshals and do not try to maintain any pace of play. We had three groups on the 10th tee and the next three holes played slow, then on 17 there were again three groups on the tee.

Always one of my favorite tracks ! Excellent condition, fast true greens. Elevation changes that keep you interested and make you think about each shot. A MUST play course !

It is a very nice course lots of up and down holes, very well maintained and staff friendly, Very few level lies though so you need to make good selections off the tee for a second shot in.Greens were very true and fair.Will definately return when in the area.

Eaglesticks was an excellent course in excellent shape. Will definitely play this course again this year.

Really enjoyed the course, not real busy for a nice Saturday, Regular pricing is a bit high, so be patient with Golf Now for the best price.....

Played with my son on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon and we practically had the course to ourselves. No one in front of us and we kept ahead of the twosome behind. Got a great rate from golf now at $20. My son is a 12 handicapper and I'm a 14. We made it around in three hours at a non-rushed pace. The course isn't long but it pays to be accurate. If you stray from the fairway you may end up with a side hill lie feeling like you're swinging a baseball bat. Greens held well but were extremely fast with a lot of breaks.
We had a great time and it was definitely worth the drive from Columbus.

The course was in excellent shape and well maintained. I will be back before the season is over for sure to play again. Loved everything about the course the day I played.

This course is one of the best offering constant elevation changes (high to low...low to high and everything in between). The fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. The greens were fast and true. From the second we arrived until the second we left I felt that the staff appreciated us coming out to play. Certainly, I can't say that about every course. It's nice to play as an appreciated customer. I would definitely play this course again and recommend it to anyone who is in the area.
