About
EagleSticks Golf Club tumbles across gently rolling farmland situated just outside of Zanesville. The constant up-and-down characterizes the course from the rolling fairways to the undulating greens. The total elevation changes amount to more than 100 feet. The hilly terrain is adorned with pristine forests of oak, maple, ash, oak, and walnut trees. Cascading waterfalls can be found throughout the golf course as well. There are scenic views everywhere but don't let that distract you, the challenging layout requires your full attention. There are 90 bunkers strategically situated along the fairways and greens. It's not particularly long at 6,500 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that instead favors accuracy over power. The par-5 11th is EagleSticks Golf Club's signature hole. Starting with a daunting downhill plunge, there is a creek that splits the fairway and a stream that runs alongside the left approaching the green.

A great round at a great course
I got a early tee time, with the golf now app. Got to the course with about half hour before tee time. The whole process from checking in, and getting to the cart was smooth. Got paired up with three other people, who was great. From the start of round to the end everything was amazing. I would recommend this course to any one.

Slow
Front wasn’t bad, at the turn tho there was 4 Groups backed up and it never opened up. Was a long slow hot back 9 with a lot of sitting in the shade waiting

Enjoyable round at EagleSticks…. as usual!
One of my favorite layouts combined with good conditions makes EagleSticks a must play. Green conditions are my main concern at any course. EagleSticks delivers with fast true greens that have enough break to make them a really fun challenge. Hope to see it continue to be a well run, well maintained and reasonably priced course for many years so I continue to enjoy playing here.

Good course condition, pace brutal
Course is in good condition for the amount of play. Amenities at the course very nice as well. Pace of play was brutal though. Would be nice to see a starter keep people on pace.

Worth the drive to Eaglesticks
Played a Spring round when the weather was ideal for the time of year and shared this course with two friends who had never played here. Coming from Columbus to Zanesville is somewhat of a drive but well worth the expense knowing the course is truly nice. At least once a year I will make the effort to drive over an hour to play here. The course is always in great shape and the staff is always accomodating. Along with a great Golf Now rate and using some rewards make this green fee very reasonable and helps to pay for the gas to get here.

C’mon
We played 14 holes in 5 1/2 hours and then quit. Absolutely comical that we were rushed to the first tee for fear of missing our tee time by the pro shop staff. Then we had to endure the lecture that you always get iat eagle sticks about don’t drive in the rough drive only in the Fairway keep carts away from greens pin placement etc. We were even told to keep up with the group in front of us, or the two or three that were stacked up on the tees.
If you want people to come back to this place you might want to fix the ugly bad sand bunkers that are out of play and maybe not space tee times eight minutes apart for groups that have average handicap of 24.
There are better cheaper options in the area and I will be hard-pressed to ever return to Eagle Sticks.

Love to get out to Eaglesticks at least once a year. The drive from Cleveland is worth it. Course is in great shape as always. It plays challenging, especially when out of position, but good shots are rewarded.

Overpriced.
Way over priced for the course. Bunkers were full of water and the rough was out of hand. Big disappointment.
