Eagles Pride Golf Course - Green/Red

About
Eagles Pride Golf Course has long been known as one of the best military courses in the country and luckily for golfers, it's open to the public. Originally opened in 1940, the course started as the 18-hole Fort Lewis Golf Course. Another nine was added in 1979 but it wasn’t until the mid-1990s that it became Eagles Pride. The three nines are called the Green, Red, and Blue, and they are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Green/Red Course starts with the newest and most challenging of the three nines. The course will test you with plenty of trees, water hazards, undulating slopes, and even the occasional blind shot. There are some tough holes but players of all skill levels could enjoy any of the nines.
Previously known as Green/Red at Fort Lewis Golf Course.

Extremely Disappointed — Beautiful Course, But the Staff Ruined the Experience
The course itself is beautiful and challenging—fast greens, great fairways, tough rough. But the staff completely ruined the experience.
The woman at check-in was extremely rude—not just to us, but to groups before and after us. Even people at the range were talking about how nasty she was. The starter then gave our tee time away even though we were on the tee box 5 minutes early. He claimed we were late according to his watch and refused to listen. No one uses his watch but him.
He made us wait and slotted us behind a slower group, so we were backed up the entire round. No beverage cart, no food at the turn, and the 10th hole doesn’t even pass the clubhouse—so you can’t grab a drink or use the bathroom unless you go way off-route.
Great layout, but customer service is awful. Management seriously needs to reevaluate the people representing this place.
Great Deal on a nice course
Last minute decision to play on Moms Day. Looked on the GolfNow app. Had an opening for a single with the price in couldn’t pass up with cart included. Always enjoyed playing this course and to do it at a discount makes it even sweeter.
Accamodating
I mistakenly booked it for Sunday and showed up Saturday. Guy in clubhouse squeezed me in. Played by myself, which was fine. 3 some in front of me asked twice if I wanted to go through them, but they were pretty quick. Finished 18 in 3 hours 30 minutes.
Perfect
Weather perfect, course in great shape, most enjoyable day with friends
Lots of unique holes.
Very challenging course could be used for serious tournament play. Price is the best part very reasonable
Excellent Course
The course was in excellent shape for the time of year!! Greens have healede from aeration and rolled true.
Great day
Myself (not good at golf at all) and my son (second time golfing) played 18 and had a great time. We had a great time and have no complaints. Seen a ton of wildlife! We play the red course to blue and the sights were beautiful! The layout of the course was amazing and we can't wait to go back!
Tough course
The course played very nice. My only thing that wasn't great was booking my round on TeeOff app. It turns out that it was cheaper at the course, because they have senior and x military discounts that are not offered on TeeOff.
Great course to play
Always a fun and challenging course. Plays longer than stated yardage due to many uphill approach shots. The 9th hole on the Blue course is 600 yards from the white tee. Hard to reach in regulation.
