Eagles Pride Golf Course - Green/Red

About
Eagles Pride Golf Course has long been known as one of the best military courses in the country and luckily for golfers, it's open to the public. Originally opened in 1940, the course started as the 18-hole Fort Lewis Golf Course. Another nine was added in 1979 but it wasn’t until the mid-1990s that it became Eagles Pride. The three nines are called the Green, Red, and Blue, and they are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Green/Red Course starts with the newest and most challenging of the three nines. The course will test you with plenty of trees, water hazards, undulating slopes, and even the occasional blind shot. There are some tough holes but players of all skill levels could enjoy any of the nines.
Previously known as Green/Red at Fort Lewis Golf Course.

Course hates me
The course is fun but as a mediocre hacker, I always feel like it's my first time golfing here. 😂
Course expansive
I like the natural environment with the extensively wooded land providing three great courses.
The red course particularly has some quite challenging holes.
Great course, pro shop, and time
Eagles Pride offers 3 different 9 hole courses that are long and challenging for your average golfer. Great prices at the pro shop and friendly people everywhere. One of my favorite public courses in the state
Amazing course. Always rude staff
Have golfed here quite a few times now. At least in the double digits for visits. The course is phenomenal, but I never really have a good interaction with the staff in the pro shop. There is one younger gentleman who always seems to be a delight. But everyone else I’ve had to deal with in that pro shop has always been completely rude. And please don’t act like your the best military course when you can’t even simply give a military discount on your rates.
Winter day
It was a cold winter day after snow, so 3 temp greens.
Loved it
Very cool set up there is 3 different 9 hole courses green blue red we played green for the front 9an blue for the back blue was my favorite although I liked the green too but 14 or 15 is the coolest par3 over water hazard
Placement course
Other than the course being super soggy, the course was in good shape. I highly recommend not playing this course if you’re struggling with your game or if you’re expecting to have a meal after your round. The restaurant went out of business so you should bring a snack.
Good course overall. I have a huge problem with the taxes being charged. According to the fees agreement with golfnow the taxes are to be at the rate of the area for the course however this is the second time I have been charged almost 7% more than the tax rate for my course. They don't charge any extra fees now so they overcharge on the taxes. I will not use their service anymore.
Interesting Course
Other than it being super wet out due to the recent weather, the course is in good shape. It’s not very wide open, so if you’re not playing well, you’ll struggle.
Nice course, fun layout and in pretty good shape every time I play.
I enjoy the course and it's generally in good to excellent shape. Really nice right now in December!
Amazing course
Course is amazing my favorite in the area by far. However the staff could be friendlier. The lady behind the counter at the club house was very rude and refused to give us a veterans discount unless we had a “specific” vets card. Made absolutely no sense to me as we both had our VA cards at the ready to show her. And other than that just general rude staff I have run into on other rounds as well.
