Allenmore Golf Course

fairly easy course and fun to play.

Allenmore is a classic 1960s layout with tight fairways and small greens. A very fair and challenging course with excellent green conditions.

The course was very wet and the carts were required to stay on the cart paths. This was a little harder on my play because I have walking restrictions. But that is life in the northwest.

Traditional 1960s layout with fantastic greens that roll true and smooth. A few fairways get a little wet this time of year but the overall golf experience is excellent. Great new carts, paved cart paths challenging part 3s always a very fun round. Our foursome of mid handicap golfers played our round in 3 hours and 23 minutes that's a great pace of play.

Fog first 5 holes than the sun came out. Had to track down the balls and avoid the chemicals they sprayed on the fairways. Overall it was a lot of fun and the course was in good shape. The fees were very reasonable. Already made a tee time for next Monday.

All the planets were in perfect alignment and the Golf Gods were appeased. A three and a half hour round with no waiting and not a soul behind our group! Doesn't get much better than this. My drives were long and true. The only thing that could have improved was my chipping and putting.... : (

The track was in great shape. The weather was nice. The groups were playing at a good pace . No waiting it was fun. Overall the day out on the course couldn't have got any better!

Usually a good course but caught it about 10 days after the Greens were punched. Wish GolfNow would have warned me. Staff are friendly and the course is fun and challenging.

Owned by Elks. Had fun day. Decent condition. Friendly Staff. Would have had a lunch at Elk's restaurant but $10 to $15 for a Hamburger? They must be out of this world! Everything was quite pricey. My home lodge has food, very good food, but not near these prices.

I wish there was a warning that the greens were punched, other than that another fine day at the course.

This course gets better every year. They are always adding to it. They just leveled out the putting green and added a short game area. I didn't know the greens were punched but they still rolled pretty good. The fairways were in great shape and they now got a new restaurant. I would definitely go back.

I often have my best scores at Allenmore, due to the non-punative layout and broad fairways. Greens roll true, and it's pretty easy to find shots that travel to the left or right.

On the day that I played as a single, I was added to a threesome of very nice dudes whose skill level was similar to my own. When we encountered two groups ahead of ours who were playing at the speed of a glacier, we cut over to #9 and had a wide-open course. The on-course marshal didn't give us any grief, since we didn't mess up the flow with our maneuver, which was awesome.

The only downside to playing this course is the restriction on hitting woods/driver on the practice range. But it's not so much of a deterrent that I avoid playing here!

Pro shop staff are very friendly and professional. Prices for snack bar food are reasonable, and service was fast/efficient/friendly.

I would recommend Allan more to anyone who would like a well groomed course with good staff, food and drinks.

I was surprised when I told the proshops staff that I've got 3 tee times for 12 players and if it's possible to let us play continually(it was 23 and 22 minutes apart from each tee time),the staff name Frank checked the computer and said yes and even escorted us to the first tee to make sure there's no cconfusion on the deck.

We then have enjoyed the rest of the day and thought we would have come to this venue again for sure.

I always enjoy Allenmore...The staff is always friendly and the course is fun and overall in very good shape...This time the restaurant was open and we enjoyed a great lunch at the Urban Elks, which also provided friendly and prompt service... And the bloody Mary's were some of the best I've ever had...If your looking for a great day of golf I highly recommend Allenmore to everyone...you won't be disappointed...

The course itself is great. The front desk guy needed an attitude adjustment. Maybe it was a bad moment, but his customers service was horrible.

If you're going to have a golf Marshall, have him enforce the pace of play. The foursome in front of us had at least a two hole gap ahead of them. Not even close to ready golf. We actually got so frustrated on waiting, we quit early. That's a first. The golf Marshall watched it for along time. Ugh!

Course is in amazing condition!!! It's my #1 spot to play. It will be an even better course when the restaurant is in.

The course was adequately challenging for a high handicapper like myself. The course layout made you think, but was forgiving enough where I didn't lose my ball on mis-hits. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would play again and recommend to others.

This is not the longest course, but it makes up for being on the short side with some holes that require thought off the tee. There's a few holes where bombing it will net you a birdie opportunity, but there are several par 4s that really make you consider a long iron out of the box. The greens are probably the biggest obstacle. Often small with plenty of speed and undulation. Always fun playing here!

Allenmore, what's to say?

The course is a lot of fun, semi challenging, in wonderful condition.

This time out, after the first hole the rain began and boy howdy did it ever come down. I was drenched and with a strong wind the conditions became worthy of a US Open task master. Between the rain, the wind, wet ground, now-slippery-clubs... it was a blast. LOL I actually had a blast and still managed to play 18 holes of epic-challenge-golf. Wooo hooo! Hooyah!!!

I gotta give it up for Allenmore on this one, because even with the terrential rains and high winds... the course remained playable.

This one will go into the books for me to remember. I shot an 88 all said and done. Not bad for my 7th game of golf after 27 years I'm told. (?) I have no clue as I've never had a lesson to know one way or the other.
