About
Allenmore Golf Course is located in the heart of Tacoma but thanks to the beautiful setting with Mt. Rainier serving as a backdrop, it feels like it's actually miles from the city. The layout is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and though it's not particularly long, it offers plenty of variety. It's a course where you'll have to use every club in your bag. Trouble lurks at almost every turn in the form of doglegs, trees, or out-of-bounds. Water hazards also come into play. With uphill, sidehill, and downhill lies, the course is never boring and while there are some challenging holes, there are also birdie opportunities if you play strategically. In addition to the golf course, Allenmore also has a short-iron driving range and a practice facility with chipping and putting greens.

convenient
Doing some irrigation upgrades so bit torn up, but very disappointed in the greens.
Allenmore always fun to play

Ok but not great.
For the most part it was a good round of golf as long as I kept it in the faraway on the construction holes. I look forward to playing here again when work is complete.

Putting was very difficult
The group that I was with all had a difficult time putting. The greens were very fast. But the course was in good shape. The Staff was very friendly. The group I was with was very nice. Great day for golf.

Tricky greens
Pin placement made greens a little tougher…pace a little slow because of ladies tournament ahead of us but overall great day

Good day for golf
I booked a Saturday morning round late on Friday night and got a good deal. The course was in decent condition with most of the course fairly dry. The pace of play was slower than what I expected for a 7:12am round as the 3-some in front of us were slow on the greens, but they eventually picked up their pace of play (no groups in front of them), but it took us over 4:15 to complete our round. The beverage cart was out, which has been a rarity of late. Overall a good round.

Quality old course
Not a long course but narrow so it is a good challenge. The greens are what make this course. Small and fairly quick. Overall fun and worthy course to play.

Terrible greens
There’s two types of grass growing on greens which looks like you’re putting on camouflage, bumpy and won’t hold a line

Terrible greens
You would think that the putting greens would be a good representation of what to expect out on the course but they are not also they have two different spices of grass growing so when you are trying to get a read it’s pretty bad I felt like the greens were like camouflage and texture was hard to keep your put on line

Horrible staff, overpriced course
The staff have single handedly ruined this place. What used to be a comfortable experience is no longer. The carts were dirty - mustard was all over the driver seat and back rest. The young man working the pro shop was incredibly rude both during check in and during the round. Play at Allenmore if you don't mind terrible customer service while paying $60 to rent a cart you have to clean…
