Lake Spanaway
A fantastic old school layout with giant trees and reasonably fast greens. The course management is definitely making great improvements the last 16 months.

Good shape
Overall the course is in good shape. Fairways are firm and rolling out. Greens are very firm and rolling pure. Minor, but my only two complaints would be; Can we get a level tee box for gods sake? Nothing worse than teeing off on a side slope every hole. And those bunkers need some sand in them and they shouldn’t be watered like you are trying to make a pond. Unfortunately I know from first hand experience. I will be back.

Great value
Spanaway is a very nice course, and a great winter course. Greens were freshly punched and sanded, but course conditions were otherwise fine. We’ll worth the cost.
