Lake Spanaway Golf Course

First outing in the new year. Weather was not much of a factor in the round. It was cart path only however and that put a damper on a couple in my foursome. I liked the condition of the course considering it is February and the amount of rain we got in December and January. Grounds crew renovating the bunker on 14 when we played the hole and noticed again that lot of work on bunkers. Hopefully when it warms up the bunkers will be great to play out of.

This course doesn’t get enough praise. Pouring rain but course held up. Love this track. Just super and I think plays longer than advertised. Way to go Spanaway!

This is an excellent course for the winter season, but the car path really needs to be improved.

Lake Spanaway is in good shape this winter and the holiday lights around the course are fun addition. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a marshall out so pace of play was good. The greens were soft but still fast enough to challenge better players. This is a fun parkland style course. It was an hour drive but well worth it.

Played a round at Lake Spanaway with three friends. Rain on Sunday and Monday didn't allow us to drive golf carts on the course, but overall enjoyed the opportunity to play on a nice layout. Some standing water on the cart paths, bunkers were raked (saw a large pile of sand in the parking lot) but need some TLC. Greens were great!

Bunkers are being repaired. Greens are getting better. Rocks in rough and bunkers are a problem. Cart paths always a problem Hope it continues to improve.

If not for the damp weather due to the heavy fog it would have been a great time.

Good price to play this course and pace of play was great. Fairways were not in great shape and greens were covered with pine needles. Overall it’s an okay course but not what I expected for my first time playing.

Don't have who Sam is but I definitely enjoyed this round of golf and highly recommend for golfers of all abilities. Tough but fair. I'll be going back often
