Didn’t expect it to be that good
Rolling through W Virginia and found this place, gotta be honest on the way there I wasn’t expecting much I got there and this place was beautiful and the people were so nice and for the price I paid it’s ridiculously cheap

Great time!
This is a very nice course nestled next to a mountain. It's in excellent shape. When they get some sand in the bunkers it will be top notch
Gem in W Va
1 of those , well lookee here what I found in the middle of nowhere lol heres what you found! A great layout , only gave 4 stars on condition because they had just done the greens , everything else was fantastic! Including the staff , and the food! Where else can you get a grilled bologna sandwich at the turn w a $3 draft! Here , that's where! Playable, w some challenging holes , just a delight tbh
Great course
Last year at this time, I would have given it a 2.5 stars. But with the new owers taken over. The course is becoming alot better course. Buy mid year, this course should be in great shape. The staff is great and friendly especially Bruce. Great and friendly person. Cares about the players and the course. And the food at The Sandtrap Cafe has great burgers and fries. And the other food looks great too. If you're in this area, I would definitely go and play.
Improvements under new ownership
Front desk person was friendly. Greens were quick. New owner has installed new flags and cups and is working on rejuvenating the sand traps.
Very nice public course
If you’re looking for a great golfing experience in Southern West Virginia, this is the place. The natural beauty on and around this course is breathtaking. Very hilly, but the views are certainly worth it. Very friendly staff. No locker rooms though. Gotta check it out
