Prairie Woods Golf Course tumbles across some of Wisconsin's most rolling terrain. On almost any point on the course, whether you're standing on the tees, the fairways, or the greens, the undulating landscape will put your skills of perception to the test. The golf course offers plenty of variety with a unique design on each hole. The rolling hills determined the strategic placement of the bunkers and there are water hazards coming into play on several holes. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes and reward a well thought-out shot, but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. The golf course is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees but the changes in elevation can make it feel longer. Besides being one of the most unique rounds in the area, Prairie Woods G.C. is also one of the most affordable.

Great track
This course was great!! Greens were in excellent shape rolled true and quick. Very fun track with some challenging holes where you need to hit your shot or you’ll be in trouble! I’ll be back to play this course again for sure!

The course was in very good shape. Tee boxes were an 8 out of 10.
The fairways were an 8. The greens were a 9, and not punched yet.
Sand traps were a mixed bag from a 5 to a 10. The Fall colors were popping as expected and many photos were taken. The course layout provides challenges for power and finesse……course management is always top of mind. See you next Spring.
Personal handicap is 12.9.

Loved the layout and the course itself. They really take care of it and for a great price too. Definitely worth it to make the trip to Prairie Woods
A bit of a hidden gem, it's only 6000 from the tips, but those tees require precise shots or a big number is in play. A lot of risk vs reward decisions with multiple short 4 's & 5's dog legging nearly 90 degrees. Green are always in excellent shape.
Great jewel found
Starting with the front desk personnel who were friendly and vey helpful, this course was well laid out, challenging for our group and pace of play was good. Try it out you won’t be disappointed.
Nice Course
First time at the course and enjoyed the round. Staff was friendly and informative. Start times are announced over a speaker to keep play moving. Good mix is elevation, trees and water to keep the shot making varied. Well kept course and it was a good round. I'll definitely be back.

Prairie Woods is always a good round. Played with some random people. Complimentary golfing style. As always had some good shots and some bad shots. A good round.
Senior-friendly course that is worth the drive!
This course has a great mix of holes, including water, trees, doglegs, etc. very friendly to senior men as well; I was able to drive to within 30 yards on at least 3 par 4 holes.
Will play again
Won’t find a better value. Greens were in great shape.
Fun course
The golf course was in great shape. The greens were beautiful. Prairie Woods is very well taken care of.
