Browns Lake Golf Course

With the weather finally turning nice it was a lot of fun getting on Browns Lake. I like the way the course has both challenging short and long holes. I have no complaints about the course other than the greens have not matured, but that is to be expected with all the cold weather we've had in WI. The staff are very customer focused and I found the pace of play was good...took just under 4 hours to complete 18.

Greens were recently aerated. We didn't know. Would have been a deal breaker with one of our foursome but the rest of know that can happen in fall golf and we got a really cheap rate. Windy and some very hard ground in some spots gave big drives but landing approach short of greens sometimes gave huge bounces that carried over the green.

Cours was to bumpy, hard surface, no beverage cart on cours, no drinking water stations around the cours and outher golfers around no respect for the game and golf cours.

Some holes still in rough shape due to flooding. Challenging layout. Friendly staff.

Took my son out for his first round at this course. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They recognized that a young golfer was going out there and treated him with extra kindness. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to have a fun round of golf with some challenging holes.

Course was in great shape considering how flooded it was. We play here quite often and it's always a great place to play. They have a junior discount for kids

This course plays short on some holes where you can make a short approach shot (<100yds). If you decide to hit driver make sure you are straight or accurate. Trees are in play but are playable from under them. Fun course I like playing it and the prices are great. I recommend playing this course, look online for deals.

Not an easy course if you aren't hitting it straight. Great value, friendly staff.

It was a humid afternoon. Course was not in great condition. Fairways not really fair, if you know what I mean. Also had a group be hid us with little golf etiquette. Cart girl was quite attentive.

A nice course to play, a few interesting holes, none very difficult, but pace was good, course in good shape, great for a relaxing game. Greens were cut short and fast.

Our foursome returned to Brown's Lake after a 20 year absence. We're now in our late 60's and it was very enjoyable. The coarse has undergone a lot of nice upgrades and we had a great time. We play an average of once a week and are intermediate duffers, shooting between high 80's and low 100's. We played the yellow tee's and it was very challenging. The price was cheap and the staff was excellent. No doubt we will return.
