About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Great Day & Great Time at Rivermoor!
Always a treat to play golf at Rivermoor. The course was well maintained for the most part and the staff (Tom) was friendly and welcoming.
Will be back!
Greens are in rough shape
The greens desperately need to be aerated. Pace of play was a challenge on a busy Sunday afternoon with an unhealthy mix of walkers and riders. Although the price was hard to beat, the value wasn’t there due to the condition of the greens.
Greens had brown spots
It was a perfect day. The course was in nice shape with the exception of dead grass browns spots on every green. The greens were a little bumpy, slow and did not track well. We just made the best of it.
Tight
Lots of trees. Tight fairways. Shorter course so be careful if you hit bombs. Lots of back n forth holes so need to pay attention to errant shots from other holes. Hard fairways due to lack of rain. Small greens so make your approach shots are darts. Watch out for sprinkler holes!!
