Don’t waste your money
If you’re a nature lover, it’s a great place to go and take pics of the wildlife. As far as golf goes, the course is in poor condition and the greens were sanded. If they advertised that, I never would’ve booked it. There were also groups of kids (6-7 per group) playing and being loud. Had a twosome in front of me who were blasting their music. I don’t recommend this place for a competitive golfer, but I would definitely recommend it for kids and beginners.
Slow Saturday afternoon
Beautiful layout and peaceful surroundings with huge trees make for an excellent setting. Pace of play was excruciating. Waiting on every tee and though we were supposed to start at 4.08 we could only finish 12 holes and that was after a lot of people quit at 9.
Beautiful setting
Course is set amongst tall trees and a winding stream. Mostly short par 3’s with 3 par 4’s on each 9. A good variety of holes. Tees were nearly all in poor shape and the greens were a bit bumpy since most don’t repair their pitch marks. Speed was ok. The COVID 19 requirement for not touching the flagstick was handled by having the cup up so you just had to hit that to hole out. Not very satisfying and also a bit easier than having to get the ball in the hole.
Could be Better
The Starters are about the friendliest anywhere. The Proshop staff could smile more, but then again, we're in a pandemic. The course is fun and relatively easy. I enjoy the conditions of the greens (smooth and true).
The price is too much for a walking course without Par 5's.
Nice course during Covid-19
Today is really hot 102F. But this course has a lot of trees and shadows. No water served so need to bring your own. Benches have warning signs not to use. Nice rest room near pro shop, one person/one time. Hole with rings and easy putt/chip in.

Overpriced and slow place
Premium pricing for a short course. You'd be better of spending an extra $10 - $20 to play a regular golf course.
Early Morning on Sunday
Was the first group out at 6:30 and the greens were a little wet and slow but once sun came out about hour into round greens were in pretty good shape. Finished round in 2 1/2 hours great to get done before work. Love to get a round in under 3:30 hours.
Good Beginners Course
Shorter 18 hole course. Overall, it is in decent shape and good to improve your game. Friendly staff and decent pace of play. Will continue to go there.
Not for awhile
Very disappointed with the conditions of the course overall. Badly in need of water! The fairways are bare of grass and the greens are in need of care. Pace of play was extremely slow.
Not worth it
I’ve play this beautiful little course many times for a few years and always enjoyed the round.. However, it’s been awhile and I was thoroughly disappointed with the conditions. The fairways are down to bare dirt and the greens are terrible. I won’t be back there for along while!
Great Day of Golf
It was the best day of gold with 2 pals who'd never played at Deep Cliff before. They enjoy the course and the fine weather.
Deep Cliff
Very funnnnnn short course. Busy though so still took over 4hrs.
Challenging Short course
Narrow course provides nice challenges on both par 3 and 4’s. Beautiful wildlife and a surroundings make you feel like you are miles away from the Bay Area.
