About
Mayville Golf Club is a public course that has been a local favorite since opening in 1931. It originally opened as a nine-hole course but has expanded to a full 18 over the years though it is still a manageable length for beginners and high handicappers. The gently rolling terrain provides some subtle but tricky contours. The bunkering is sparse but carefully placed to complement the natural undulation of the land. The golf course has a good mix of holes that are tree-lined and others that are wide-open. There are a few small ponds that come into play on the front nine while several holes on the back nine run alongside a meandering stream. There are plenty of challenges in store but overall it is a player-friendly course. Mayville G.C. is also one of the better golf values in the area.

Great landscape. Beautiful scenery. Put money into the greens, tee boxes, and fairways and this could be very good
Fire your grounds keeper
This was the worst condition I’ve ever played on there are many other courses within 30 minutes of this one that are cheaper and have been kept up
Sunday Funday?
Course was in really bad shape. I've only been here one other time, but i'd say it's not really worth the $60 + fees with cart. Yes, that's typical round anywhere here, but for a 69.5/119 rating course in terrible shape? Lots of burn out, and tees where bad shape. Greens were okay considering
Next Season
The summer has been hard on the course. Tees boxes and greens are scorched. Large brown areas cover the course fairways. Nothing rolled true. Balls that were safely in the fairway rolled into the rough and balls ping ponged off greens. The course as is, is not a good reflection of your skill or the courses potential. Wait until next season when the course has had a chance to recover.
Great challenge - tough greens
Love to play Mayville G.C. It's quite challenging, especially the greens - fast and undulating. I can't wait to get back.

This course was in fantastic shape . It’s a shorter course (6100+ yds.from the tips) . Besides your putter be ready to play all of the other 13 clubs in your bag . Will definitely play again. The staff was great ! Do yourself a favor and play this course !!!
Nice Course - Friendly People
I've played Mayville in the past, but not since the ownership change. The change has been good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bar/restaurant great. Course was in good shape although sand traps could use work. Greens are always tricky because of elevation changes, but I thought they were in good condition. Nice course. Perhaps a little on the high side for price on a public course, but only the owners will know how many rounds they are booking as a result.
Outstanding
This is the best kept secret in Washington Co. Great course in superb condition. I've never seen better greens. Very true.
