Wildhorse Golf Course

Use to be a great course. Great practice facilities. Course itself is in horrible shape and pace of play was not managed by a Marshall. Extremely disappointed. Too many other good courses, so probably won’t play this course again for a lot of years!!!

They put so many people out on the back nine that we couldn’t finish before dark.

Normally I like playing here. But this time I played the course was in various states of disrepair. There was lines of foam on all the greens that interferes with putting. There was no sand in the bunkers or the bunkers were being dug up. There was construction equipment on multiple places on the course. On top of that, when I booked the reservation, it was pay up front and no refund. Had I known the course was in the condition it was in, there is no way unwound have played there. Terrible management and treatment of paying customers.

The green and course was not easy. But, it's very interesting.

This course used to be better maintained. The bunkers need some major work and are hard pan for the most part. There are some areas on the course that are also dirt and dried out.

It’s always a treat when you can play on Friday’s n not have to deal with traffic jams. Great staff, good course and good food. Course conditions better then most places for this time of year, even though they have some bunker construction they’re very courteous. Highly recommend!

Fun and challenging course for all skill levels. Greens were just aerated and some bunker constructions, slow play is always hard to deal with but overall really fun and enjoyable course.

Staff members are very friendly. Fairway conditions were not bad. But, the bunkers need to be filled with sands.

You have a wonderful course. The layout was set up well and the greens were perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the course. I will be back! Your staff was professional and polite.

The course is very well maintained, pace of play is extremely quick and open, and for the price you can’t get much better.

Overall the course has been managed well and the greens proved to be well groomed. I look forward to my next golf outing at WildHorse.

Very windy day so it was tough to dial in distances. That said, it wasn't too difficult because there is ZERO rough at this course. The fairways and greens are good color, but the rest of the course is dried-up dirt. Like hitting off concrete.

Pace of play was excellent, but the course is nothing special. Greens rolled nice, but the bunkers were rock hard dirt. Not a great value but a fun layout.

The design of this course makes it extremely difficult to maintain, so on the one had I can understand why it is so dried out with as much dirt as grass. The fairways are undulating, which makes it near impossible for water to soak in wherever there's a slope. Many of the par 4s and 5s are super narrow and they seemed to have stopped watering altogether left and right of the fairways. So if you don't hit a straight shot down the middle, you can expect it to bounce into trouble. Most bunkers were ground under repair. Greens were in good, but not great, condition — too many players were not fixing their ball marks and someone ahead of us left sunflower shells on the greens.
