Rivermoor Golf Club

About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Good for all
This course is always well groomed. It is great for all skill levels.
Great Time at Rivermoor!
Another fine day of golf at Rivermoor GC.
The weather was perfect, and the course was challenging.
Could have used a Ranger to move along the pace of play as there were folks that likely needed to play "Best Ball" or pick up after 3+ poor shots in a row.
No worries though - it's a nice place to be!
Rivermoor
The fairways and tee boxes need an upgrade. The the were good. Still, it's always a fun and challenging course to play.
Love the Rivermoor GC
On a Steamy Day in July, we had a great round at Rivermoor GC. The staff is accommodating, and the course is challenging but fair for semi competitive spouses.
We keep Rivermoor GC in our rotation because it's both fun and a fine value!
Worth the price
I really enjoy the layout of this course and it's serene setting. Mainly wide open with beautiful scenery and some challenging holes. Would recommend for players at all levels. When we were there on July 5th, it was quite busy and the staff was transparent, friendly and accommodating. Will definitely golf here again. Thank you!
Good shape
I like to lay out. The only attention they need to make is for the tea boxes. Greens ran true. Nice course go play
Raining. No problem.
Played course during 2-day rainfall. Still played awesome.
Not the best experience
4.5 hours for 16 holes, left early to make a dinner reservation. Tree lined fairways and a lot of shots forcing you to play a fade both off the tee and in some fairways due to overhanging branches. Does not bode well for the average to below average golfer which attributed to the long waits on the tees and following approach shots. Didn’t see a beverage cart until 2 hours into the round at the 6th Hole after we were told that they were out and about on a warm day. On the 16th Hole…the foursome directly in front of us was out of the blue joined by what I assume was a course maintenance worker that they knew since he arrived in a maintenance cart and proceeded to play the Par 3 with them as a group of 5. Took them nearly 15 minutes to finish up the hole and at that point it was time to call it a day. I paid a discount through Golf Pass/Golf Now to play this course, otherwise I probably would not have chosen this course especially on a weekend let alone a Father’s Day weekend.
Well maintained and friendly staff.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first time at Rivermoor. The staff was friendly and the course was in great shape. I will absolutely be back. It was a great value, and worth the drive for me!
Great Day except for a little...
Slow play.
Had a blast at Rivermoor except the group in front of us was getting stoned and unaware of golf courtesy guidelines. Finally, just jumped around then and came back to play the 9th later.
Still a fun round!
Tight with the tree lines, but course conditions were great the fairways and greens.
