Rivermoor Golf Club
About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Course is in terrible condition. Tee boxes so hard you could hardly get a tee in the ground. Pace of play was horrible. There were times there were 3/4 groups on the same hole. Waiting on every single shot is no way to play golf. Will never again play Rivermoor
Course has lots of mature trees on every hole with a few creeks.
The course was enlightening to play on due to the scenery and the amount of difficulty. I had a wonderful time and the regulars treated me like I was part of their group. Price for 18 holes and a cart was very inexpensive, $26 through GOLFNOW, and couldn't pass that up. Thanks Rivermoor Golf
Rivermoor Golf
Have played it before and enjoyed it. This time the course was very dry, even some bare spots on the fairways, and the greens were rock hard and would not hold a shot to the green. Players have been thoughtless and too many ball marks were leftt unrepaired. I did not see one groundskeeper on course during my round…
Love the Rivermoor GC
Always have a nice time playing at Rivermoor! Course layout is fair but challengingly narrow with many tree lined corridors.
Book your round before the snow flies!
Good time!
Course was having some repairs. Carts were great, clean and functional. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great value course
Course is in great shape, other than a few greens are a bit beat up. Good food, and friendly staff.
Not bad, just overpriced
The staff was friendly, and the food was good. There is no range unless you're a member, the layout is good, but the conditions lacked. Shaggy fairways blended into the rough, ant hills everywhere, severely ballmarked greens, chewed up tee boxes, and a few bunkers that looked like construction sites. With all that said, I would play there again, but not for 50 bucks. The layout was fun, trees lined most holes, challenging par 3s, and small greens that were heavily sloped. It really values good shotmaking. If the rate was closer to 30, I'd recommend it to friends, but I can't at the prices they want.
Though the course is in fair condition the greens are in very poor condition. They were very beat up and dry Tee boxes as well very dry difficult to tee the ball up. Have played this course many times over the years and have never seen the greens this rough Sad
No warming up if you don’t belong to the club
The course was nice but we won’t be returning. We were not allowed to warm up before playing on the driving range. We were told that’s for members only. If all amenities aren’t available I would want to know this upfront. Not warming up really affected all of our play. (Group of 3).
